I simply love the suspension, when driving this car you don't have to feel every
little hole or rock on dirt roads in your rump. I bet people who like more
'sporty' suspensions and want to 'feel' the road don't think this car is their
cup of tea, but I love it. It is quite soundproof, and you can listen to music
very well in this car even compared to more modern cars. The car is quite roomy
and big, but is still easy to park and handles ok in the city too. Still, longer
trips are the most enjoyable driving experiences with the 406.

The gas expenditure is OK, I think, in the city it drinks something like 7,5-8,0
litres per 100km, and in longer voyages I have been able to drive it with
6,0-6,5 litres per 100km. Overall, a very good choice if you want a cheapish and
still reliable and comfortable used car.
