For a limited time, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points at participating hotel restaurants and bars, even if you’re not staying at the hotel. Prepare your Marriott Bonvoy app when you ask for the bill. How to earn elite bonus points? Hotel restaurants and bars that participate in point redemption would also offer elite bonus points. Prepare your Marriott Bonvoy app when you ask for the bill. Can I earn points when I stay at the hotel? Yes, points earning is applicable to both walk-in and staying guests. For staying guests, you may choose to charge the restaurant & bar bill towards the hotel room and pay at check-out. Or you may choose to pay the bill when you leave the restaurant. Is there any miminum spend to earn & redeem points? Yes, minimum spend of 10 USD (after discount) to qualify for earning. Corkage fee, cake cutting fee, taxes, gratuities, service charges (and alcoholic beverage where prohibited by law) are not included in either the minimum, nor the earn calculation. What is the earn rate? The base earning rate is 10 points per 1 USD spent at participating hotel restaurants and bars. Elite members are eligible for additional bonuses based on elite tier. What is the redeem rate? The redemption rate for Marriott Bonvoy Points will vary based on currency. Generally a 50 USD check would be about 8,000-10,000 points depending on which hotel you use them at. Can I earn points, even when I use a discount or additional promotional offer? Marriott Bonvoy Members can earn points while enjoying member discount (if applicable). The number of points to be earned will be based on spend after discounts have been applied.
