Manic Miners is a free remake of LEGO® Rock Raiders being solo-developed by Baraklava. Development began in May 2019 and has continued since then! It features new content, countless improvements, and lots of surprises! Download the game down below for free or join the Discord to chat with other LEGO Rock Raiders and retro LEGO fans. If you have any questions about the game, check the FAQ as your question will mostly likely be answered or send me an email! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This fresh Rock Raiders experience brings customizable hotkeys, extensive Rock Raider customization, Buildings, Vehicles, terrifying Creatures, a Level Editor, an extensive scripting system, lava erosion, landslides, spiders, extensive Eye/Shoulder view, and an abundance of new details, animations and secrets not in the original game! An action screenshot from the full 1.0 release! Vehicles and creatures all interact seamlessly with each other. Manic Miners aims to be what could’ve been if the franchise continued and subsequently released a “Rock Raiders 2” or “Rock Raiders remastered”, but 20 years later. All in the spirit of 90’s Lego themes and games. While performance and fun gameplay is the most important, all assets in the game are also supposed to be of highest quality: The models, the textures, the music, the animations… you name it, it is on the list. This is of course limited by my own ability as this is my first game. If you want to contribute in any way, my DMs and email are always open for suggestions. The editor allows you to place any tile, vehicle and creature, all with full control of the terrain and the player’s objectives. Dig in and see what you can create! Among other things, one big advantage of the game is a native Level Editor where you can realize your craziest dream levels you had when you played the original game! Use the visual scripting to easily set up monster spawn points and advanced level scripting to do even more. There are also powerful terrain tools that let you shape the look of the level as you wish. There are no limits, and all you have to do when you’re done is send a single file to a friend.
