* Home * Services * Projects * About * Contact us * Teams * Careers * Blog * Life in Admind GOOD DESIGN® AWARD 2021 – TWO AWARDS FOR ADMIND Author: Szymon Dyrlaga, Content Marketer WE ARE HAPPY TO SHARE THE NEWS THAT THE CHICAGO ATHENAEUM: MUSEUM OF ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN AND THE EUROPEAN CENTRE FOR ARCHITECTURE ART DESIGN AND URBAN STUDIES HAVE AWARDED ADMIND WITH GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021. WE ARE DELIGHTED EVEN MORE THAT BOTH OF OUR SUBMITTED PROJECTS WERE HONORED. GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 – ABB LANDSCAPES The first project is ABB Landscapes, which got the GOOD DESIGN Award 2021 in the Graphic Design – Corporate Identity category. The idea was to design a layered landscapes system. It allows ABB to demonstrate advanced solutions through carefully constructed grids, 3-D objects, and focus areas. Moreover, creates accurate and aesthetically pleasing representations of ABB technology in operation. Our process involved designing a visual panorama system that wouldn’t overload the viewer with details or add unnecessary technical complexity. The system can be easily changed and customized to meet new requirements or add new focus areas. GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 – SERVICENOW FOUNDATION FOR FUTURE The second project – Shell ServiceNow Foundation for Future – got the award in Graphic Design – Programs category. The foundation of the project was to provide a way for employees to contribute to sustainability goals and communities around the world. Our challenge was to create a visual language for the program. Most importantly the goal was to support the required changes in the eyes of the users, create a positive experience, and communicate key ideas clearly. Therefore, our Admind team prepared a graphic illustration of two people interacting with the key icons. We designed them to express the values and goals of the program. In addition, we designed an infographic, layouts for all print and digital applications, and a set of brand guidelines for the use of the materials. The guidelines covered all aspects of the designs, including the use of imagery, colors, and layout elements. WHAT IS THE GOOD DESIGN AWARD? Eero Saarinen and Charles and Ray Eames established the event in Chicago in 1950. The GOOD DESIGN remains the oldest and the world’s most recognized competition for design excellence worldwide. This year, the jury received a record number of submissions from the world’s leading manufacturers, industrial and graphic design firms.
