INTRODUCING CORNERSTONE BAPTIST CHURCH

We’re a brand new church getting ready to start soon in Midtown Mobile, Alabama.
At Cornerstone, you’ll find a group of people who believe in God’s love and want
to share it with our community. Our goal is to be a place where everyone feels
welcome, no matter who you are or where you come from.

We’ll have uplifting worship services and friendly gatherings where you can make
new friends. We’re excited to begin this journey of faith together and discover
how God’s love can change our lives for the better.

MEET THE DESHAUTEURS

I grew up in Biloxi Mississippi where my parents made sure my brothers and I had
church to teach us from God’s word. It was there that I heard the gospel message
but pride would keep me from turning to Christ for quite some time. I was saved
at the age of 18 and not long after, the Lord called me to preach. I’ve been
involved in various aspects of ministry and early on, I had a strong desire to
pastor a church. But after visiting some churches, It just didn’t seem like it
was going to happen so I let go of the thought and just served where the Lord
had me. The subject of pastoring would come up many times over the years but I
would learn to brush it off quite well…until one day, I couldn’t. God was
calling and it was clear to me. So I went from wanting nothing to do with
pastoring to it being my life’s calling.
