Clifford House is a private home Bed and Breakfast in historic Ohio City.

 

Our uniquely eclectic, formal and charming home, built in 1868 as a square
Tuscany Style, was expanded in 1890 to its present Queen Anne size. The home has
always been one of the notable architectural anchors of the neighborhood, often
referred to as "THE Brick House" of Ohio City.

art, high-quality linens, and other classic touches. We encourage you to make

We’re located in Cleveland’s best neighborhood, Ohio City. The historic West
Side Market and a plethora of independent restaurants and brew pubs are a short
walk away. Don’t forget about the breakfast, though! Jim cooks every morning
with local, organic ingredients.

"Jim, the owner of Clifford House, knows how to make people feel invited and is
a great breakfast cook. He is also very knowledgeable of the area. His two
animals are awesome. The parking was also quite easy. A great stay."

food, great host and most of all free to come and go as we wished. Jim has a lot
to offer at his B and B...very nice location, very knowledgeable about the

Over decades, Clifford House has grown into a local treasure. Jim Miner, the
home's owner, lives in the Hart Room on the second floor. His dog, Sherlock, and
cat, Wesley, are friendly companions to Jim and guests, alike.

stay. Jim was a welcoming host and terrific. The food he made for breakfast each
day was delicious! We especially loved the breakfast for our second day: spinach
quiche, fresh fruit, homemade chocolate chip and walnut pancakes with juice, and
coffee."
