GET HELP WITH YOUR INTERNET SERVICE Eligible households can get help to pay for internet service with the Affordable Connectivity Program. Check Eligibility The Affordable Connectivity Program provides qualifying households with monthly credits to help pay for internet service. If eligible, you may receive a credit of up to $30 per month toward your broadband services, or up to $75 in Tribal lands. The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service credit per household. Note: You can opt-out of the Affordable Connectivity Program, change (including to a plan below $30) or cancel your internet service or provider at any time without facing early termination fees. QUALIFYING FOR THE AFFORDABLE CONNECTIVITY PROGRAM A household is eligible for this program if one member of the household meets any one of the following criteria: * Qualifies for the Lifeline program; * Household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines; * Receives benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program, or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision; * Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; * Meets the eligibility criteria for Spectrum's existing low-income program; * Receives assistance through the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). CURRENT CUSTOMERS Current Spectrum customers who have already applied for eligibility through the National Verifier may complete our online application form to apply for this program. You’ll receive verification of your status in this program by email. NEW CUSTOMERS If you’re considering switching to Spectrum, you can find out if you’re eligible for this program by visiting our site today. You’ll need to apply through the National Verifier as well. Note: If you're not satisfied with your internet service under the Affordable Connectivity Program, or if you had trouble enrolling in the program, you can file a complaint with the FCC Consumer Complaint Center, or call (877) 384-2575 for more assistance. View instructions and other resources to help you receive your ACP benefit. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS How do I know if I’m eligible? You may be eligible for this program if you’re a Spectrum Internet customer and you meet the criteria listed above. This is not an automatic program, so you must apply with the FCC National Verifier and Spectrum to qualify and receive this program benefit. If you have a question about your eligibility for this program, you can contact the FCC at (877) 384-2575. If you have a question about your internet service requirements, you can call us at (844) 451-4775. If I’m part of the Lifeline program, can I still qualify? Yes, you can get benefits from both the Lifeline and Affordable Connectivity Programs. You can choose to receive these benefits from your current Lifeline service provider or another participating provider. But remember, you must opt-in to this FCC program. Can I apply this credit to my existing internet service? Yes, you can apply the Affordable Connectivity Program credit to your current internet package. When and where will I see my credit? After you’ve enrolled in the program, your FCC Affordable Connectivity Program credit will be applied to your current bill cycle and will appear on your next bill statement. If you have a remaining balance after the credit has been applied, you'll see the amount due on your bill statement. What can I do to remain eligible for the credit through this program? If you're enrolled in the Affordable Connectivity Program, you must use your internet service at least once every 30 days. Otherwise, you'll lose your credit and eligibility in the program. How does moving affect my enrollment in the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP)? If you decide to move, your eligibility to receive the program doesn’t change. All you need to do is update your information through the National Verifier and then reapply for the benefit. WAS THIS ARTICLE HELPFUL?
