Email Issue on SAM.gov
Some Entity Administrators are receiving emails from SAM.gov with the subject
"SAM.gov | Someone updated the entity registration for {{LBN}}." These emails
were generated by SAM.gov in error. Entity Administrators should ignore the
messages. We believe the matter is related to a software issue. We are
continuing to investigate and working to address the matter. This does not
appear to be a scam, phishing attempt, hack, malicious behavior, or a security
breach.

SAM.gov access has been restored. We are continuing to monitor performance and
are aware that there may be continued issues with the logout that was

* Entity Validation Review Time
Entity validation review time will depend on whether we can make a match from
your original document submission, or if we need to request additional
documentation. Most entities find a match immediately, but in some cases
additional documentation and a manual review is required. The average manual
review time is currently four (4) days.

* Entity Administrator - Letter Templates
As of March 3, 2023, there are new templates for the letters used to appoint
Entity Administrators. Entities must start using the new templates now to
appoint an Entity Administrator if they do not currently have one assigned.

Starting today, March 3, 2023, entities are responsible for managing their
own roles. Even if you use a service provider for registration, you must have
