Close Simon Harris Managing Director - Global Head of Financial Institutions Moody's Investors Service Simon Harris is Managing Director for Global Financial Institutions, based in London. He is responsible for Moody’s analytic teams maintaining Moody’s ratings on banks and finance companies, re/insurers and funds and asset management globally. Simon joined Moody’s European Insurance team in 1998, working on analysis of UK and German life and non-life insurance groups, and prior to his current role held various managerial responsibilities, including EMEA Insurance, Nordic Banking and Global Insurance and Managed Investments. Prior to joining Moody’s, Simon was an actuary with Co-operative Financial Services in Manchester, England. Simon holds a B.A. in Economics from Leeds University, and is a Fellow of the UK Institute of Actuaries (FIA). Close Ana Arsov Managing Director, Global Banking Co-Head Moody’s Investors Service Ana Arsov is a Global Managing Director, co-heading of the banking rating franchise for Moody’s Investor Service which includes rating coverage for banks, securities firms, specialty finance and market infrastructure. Ana joined Moody’s in 2013 with an extensive experience in analyzing financial institutions and managing credit professionals. Prior to joining Moody’s, Ana’s most recent role was at UBS, where she spent the last several years as Executive Director in Credit Risk, responsible for financial institutions including North American banks, broker dealers, exchanges and clearinghouses. Prior to UBS, she was Head of Global Portfolio Management-Credit Risk Management at Morgan Stanley, focusing on comprehensive coverage, identification and analysis of risks across the firm’s trading and lending businesses as well as leading key risk management initiatives for Morgan Stanley Bank N.A. Ana began her career in Credit Risk Management at Lehman Brothers in various credit risk roles, ultimately heading up the North American Financial Institutions and Structured Finance team, and subsequently worked on Lehman’s bankruptcy resolution. Ana holds a master’s degree in Management (with a specialization in Financial Services and Banking) from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in Business from Pace University, New York. Ana also holds certificate on board governance from Harvard Business School. Close Nick Hill Managing Director, Global Banking Co-Head Moody's Investors Service Nick Hill is a Managing Director co-responsible for Moody’s global bank ratings. Based in Paris, he joined Moody’s in March 2010. Nick led the revision of Moody’s bank rating methodology, which was republished in 2015. Prior to joining Moody’s, Nick worked as a bank analyst in a variety of roles. These include banking supervision at the Bank of England and Financial Services Authority, where he began his career; sell-side equity research on French banks in a #1 ranked team at Morgan Stanley; rating UK and continental European banks at Standard & Poor’s; and providing balance sheet advice to financial institutions with RBS. A graduate of Christ’s College, University of Cambridge in the UK, Nick holds an MA in English, a diploma in French, and a postgraduate certificate in Finance from Birkbeck College, University of London.
