Inspired by the natural flexibility of a fern leaf, this chair evenly
distributes weight as you move to help relieve pressure. At its core is our
patented Wave Suspension system, which mimics the human spine and cradles your
body in comfort.

To create Fern, our designers partnered with the Human Performance Institute at
Western Michigan University, where we conducted comfort studies with experts in
biomechanics, physical therapy, and kinesiology.

HOW TO ADJUST & CARE FOR FERN

 * Vacuum your chair as needed.
 * For additional cleaning, use a solution of lukewarm water and mild detergent
   (about 10%). Gently apply in a circular motion, then rinse with warm water
   and dry with a soft cloth.

First high-end office chair

It's so comfy, there are times when I forget I'm sitting in a chair. The most
noticeable feature of the fern is how it hugs my back like no other chair I've
had. Without a doubt it's the best chair I've owned.

A real difference maker

Making the change to a Fern from a less expensive and made a world of difference
in seat comfort and back support. Previously had and to get up walk around to
relieve pain in the legs and back. The Fern feels like an extension of my back,
it cradles it so well. Really happy with the build quality as well. Happy with
the investment.

Pretty Good

First I have to say it is a great chair! I just don't know if its worth the
price Haworth is asking for. I will also add that a lot of reviewers recommended
to not get the head rest and I have to say I do wish I had gotten one. At 6 feet
tall the back rest just feels a little too short and I think a head rest would
have helped IMO. Overall a huge upgrade from my very very old DX Racer knockoff.

You won’t find a better chair

Call me the Goldilocks of office chairs. I’ve never been able to find one I
really like, one that checks all the boxes. I’ve never really believed a chair
could be comfortable enough to be worth the price Haworth charges, but I can
tell you without a doubt this is the perfect chair for anyone needing higher
back support but equally stylish and durable at the same time.

Perfect Multi-Use Chair

This chair was the BEST investment I have made for my posture health! Although a
bit pricey, the cost per year completely justifies it if you’re work from home,
student, gaming enthusiast, etc. Whatever your use case, I would recommend this
chair to those that can afford it.

I’m a multi-use case scenario user of this chair since I work from home, game,
and enjoy a wide range of entertainment at my desk. When I ordered the chair I
opted for the Digital Knit in Baltic Blue with Forward tilt, plastic base, and
no lumbar support. My configuration is great even without the lumbar support
since I feel supported regardless. However, if you prefer lumbar support, in
general, then opt for it! I’m a bit on the shorter side at 5’8 at ~150 and feel
extremely comfortable. Also, get the digital knit instead of the mesh.

The quality of the material in all of the chair is exceptional. My first gripe
is that the arms at the highest height are a bit wobbly but nothing too
excessive. I just wish they were more secure at this price point. My second
minor gripe is the padding material on the arm rests are a bit too firm for my
taste. Nonetheless, do not keep these minor flaws from purchasing this great
chair. The casters are really quiet and smooth which is great! The forward tilt
is useable and a great option to have. I can sit in this chair for hours but
with standing breaks in between for blood circulation.

Before I bought this chair, I tried the Herman Miller Embody and I think the
Fern is better. I felt too rigid and could not relax in the Embody and the Fern
allows me to adjust/relax without making feel like I have to sit in a specific
position. I suggest try them both at a store if you can. Moreover, I researched
both companies and I like Haworth as a brand than Herman Miller. I feel Haworth
is more sustainable and treats their employees better.

This is a great chair! If you can afford it, I would highly recommend it.
