Subbu currently serves as President and CEO at Aerospike. Subbu has over 25
years of experience leading teams at many innovative enterprise technology
companies. He is passionate about monetizing and scaling businesses to reach
their full potential. Subbu has held executive leadership roles at several
technology companies including Oracle, Veritas Software, Hewlett Packard
Enterprise, Dell EMC and Riverbed Technology.

Srini Srinivasan

CTO and Founder

Srini V Srinivasan is a Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Aerospike. When
it comes to databases, Srini Srinivasan is one of the recognized pioneers of
Silicon Valley. He has two decades of experience designing, developing and
operating high scale infrastructures. He also has over a dozen patents in
database, web, mobile and distributed systems technologies. Srini co-founded
Aerospike to solve the scaling problems he experienced with Oracle databases
while he was Senior Director of Engineering at Yahoo. Srini has a B.Tech,
Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and both an M.S.
and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.



David Kjerrumgaard

Developer Advocate - StreamNative & Author of "Pulsar in Action"



David is a committer on the Apache Pulsar project, and also the author of
"Pulsar in Action" and co-author of "Practical Hive". He currently serves as a
Developer Advocate for StreamNative where he focuses on strengthening the Apache
Pulsar community through education and evangelization. Prior to that he was a
principal software engineer on the messaging team at Splunk, and Director of
Solutions for two Big Data startups; Streamlio and Hortonworks.

Stuart Tarmy

Stuart Tarmy is the Global Director of Financial Services Industry Solutions for
Aerospike. He has over 25 years’ experience as a General Manager and head of
sales, partnerships, and product management for leading global financial service
technology, banking, brokerage, capital markets, artificial intelligence and
regulatory compliance companies. Stuart has held executive roles with Fiserv,
MasterCard, Bankers Trust, and McKinsey & Company. Stuart began his career as a
design engineer at Texas Instruments developing AI/ML- based computing systems.
Stuart holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management, an MS in Electrical and
Computer Engineering from Duke University, and a Sc.B. with Honors in Electrical
and Computer Engineering from Brown University.

Danny Bedgood is the Global VP of Industry Vertical Solutions at Aerospike. His
team is responsible for delivering real time data platforms in Financial
Services, Telecommunications, IoT, Mobility, Gaming and AdTech markets. He
joined Aerospike after a 20+ year career at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.  At HPE
he held many roles from Technical Sales Management, Global Product Management,
SR. Technical Consultant to leading Mission Critical Global Accounts.  His main
objective was building partnerships with customers as they navigated to
technology that would meet the ever-changing business climate. Some key
initiatives he led at HPE provided solutions to mission critical environments
with global data center architectures.  At HPE he pioneered efforts in IoT, Edge
Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning along with solutions in the
automotive market transformation to mobility and ADAS.He is a member of the AECC
- Automotive Edge Computing Consortium, WWW.AECC.ORG and CAR Center for
Automotive Research, WWW.CARGroup.ORG, where he speaks on the topics of Data
Monetization along with Real Time Data Platforms in today’s economy. He holds an
EMBA Certification in Leading Digital Transformation from Columbia University
School of Business.



Mario Ornelas

Founder and CEO

Zonetap, Inc.



When Mario was young his father sustained long term injuries derived from being
at the wrong place at the wrong time on a dangerous worksite. This ignited a
desire to someday build a technology to help people like his dad. Up to
recently, most safety equipment had not evolved beyond the standards like
hardhats, steel-toed boots, and safety vests. Worksite safety research results
noted there was opportunity in building new technology for keeping people safe
at dangerous worksites, in real-time. With a passion for converting new ideas
into reality, Mario built Zonetap to keep people safer at work.

Karthik Ramasamy

Head of Streaming, Databricks

Before joining Databricks, Karthik was a Senior Director of Engineering,
managing the Pulsar team at Splunk. Before Splunk, he was the co-founder and CEO
of Streamlio that focused on building next-generation event processing
infrastructure using Apache Pulsar and led the acquisition of Streamlio by
Splunk. Before Streamlio, he was the engineering manager and technical lead for
real-time infrastructure at Twitter where he co-created Twitter Heron, which was
open sourced and used by several companies. He has two decades of experience
working with companies such as Teradata, Greenplum and Juniper in their rapid
growth stages building parallel databases, big data infrastructure and
networking. He co-founded Locomatix, a company that specializes in real-time
streaming processing on Hadoop and Cassandra using SQL, which was acquired by
Twitter. Karthik has a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of
Wisconsin, Madison, with a focus on big data and databases. During his college
tenure, several of the research projects he participated in were later spun off
as a company acquired by Teradata. Karthik is the author of several
publications, patents and a popular book, Network Routing: Algorithms, Protocols
and Architectures.
