WELCOME TO SETTLER WINE CONSULTING.

Many years of work in the wine industry, locally and internationally, are the
foundation of creating wines of note and integrity.


With 30+ years of winemaking and a background in engineering , I can contribute
to many aspects of the industry.


My experience, knowledge and passion for wine are reflected in the quality and
style not only of my own Settler wines, but in many brands from New Zealand and
around the world.


The success of any wine brand starts in the vineyard. I strive to ensure that
success is making great wine profitably, with respect for nature and above all
enjoyment in the achievement

Settler vineyards are situated on the terraces above the Okawa Stream, 25 kms
west of Hastings.

Expertise in vineyard and winery establishment – strategic analysis and advice –
consultant winemaking



COOPERING


Some years ago I spent some time at a well known French cooperage. They
generously spend time with me to induce me into the world of coopering.



SOCMA WINEMAKING EQUIPMENT – INNOVATION AT ITS BEST.


We are the sole importers of Socma equipment. This innovative winery equipment
is developed and build in the south of France.
