CONNECT CARTERET




Connect Carteret – A Young Professionals Network aims to link professionals
around Carteret County, between the ages of 20 and 45, through educational,
social and philanthropic events. Each December, the popular Claus Crawl is held
in Downtown Beaufort, as a fundraiser for the group and helps support businesses
there during an otherwise quiet afternoon.

Its mission statement is, “providing career minded individuals in Carteret
County with opportunities to cultivate new relationships, develop personally and
professionally, and support the community.”

You do not have to be a Chamber of Commerce member to participate with Connect
Carteret. 


MEETINGS

The Connect Carteret Advisory Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4
pm at the Chamber offices, Mackenzie Square, 3332 St. 6, Bridges Street,
Morehead City. We are looking for more young professionals to join this advisory
board in 2023. Board members will help steer the direction of Connect Carteret
and assist in event and program planning.


EVENTS & PROGRAMS

Connect Carteret is back and busy planning 2023 networking events and
professional development programming! We expect to present three professional
development workshops, two networking service projects, and the annual Claus
Crawl this year. Social meetups are back, and we’re also working on a paid
internship matchmaking program to launch in late 2023.


 SPONSORSHIPS

You can sponsor Connect Carteret’s mission to bring young professionals together
and get them involved in our community! Sponsorships help us offset the costs of
educational programming, outreach, and will be instrumental in supporting our
paid internship program, which is currently in development.
