Lorex has created several award-winning products over the years. Our innovative
solutions include all-in-one integrated monitors with built-in recorders, a
touchscreen-enabled security system, and cameras with active deterrence
lighting.

Lorex was the first to market 4K resolution security cameras and more recently
released the Fusion Collection, which offers recording for both wired and
wireless cameras.

 * 1991How it All BeganFounded in 1991, as a privately held company by the Klein
   family, who had a history of business in consumer electronics. Despite its
   humble beginnings, Lorex has always strived to develop ingenious solutions
   that enhance customers’ security to fit their lifestyles.
 * 1993Technology InnovatorsLeading the DIY niche in the security industry,
   Lorex was the first to release a 5″ Black & White Security System that paired
   security cameras with a TV Tuner.
 * 2000Leading into the new MillenniumAs pioneers in the security industry,
   Lorex transitioned from the old time-lapsed VCR to digital video recorders.
   As an extension, Lorex was also the first to introduce 2.4GHz wireless video
   extenders.
 * 2005New HorizonsLaunched the e-commerce website to keep up with new customers
   and the increased demand for DIY security systems. Customers could now create
   a customized security system to suit their changing needs.
 * 2007Continuing the EvolutionAlways customer-centric, Lorex launched the first
   “All-in-one” solution that integrated a monitor and recorder into a single
   system. Customers now had an easy way to record and view all their footage on
   a central unit.
 * 2014High-Resolution MonitoringLorex has always maintained a strong reputation
   for providing high-quality video resolution. Marking its debut in 2014, the
   1080p High Definition wired cameras and NVR system offered the highest video
   quality in the industry.
 * 2017Taking it to the next levelCustomers could now take advantage of 1080p
   video resolution in wireless battery operated and (wire-free) cameras, giving
   customers quality video and flexible installation.
 * 2018The industry leader in 4K Video ResolutionLorex emerges as the market
   leader in 4K security cameras, making a mark with impressive video resolution
   combined with cutting-edge security features.
 * 2020Introduction of FusionLorex introduces Fusion, enabling an eco-system of

   using the Lorex Home App, providing customers a comprehensive security system

   worry-free with the release of our 2K battery-operated cameras.
