PRE-TEEN PROGRAMS

The middle school years represent a critical stage of development where children
are primed for learning and growth.

This is the best time for students to explore diverse experiences and
perspectives as they shape their interests, values, and identities and develop
life skills like critical thinking, communication, and resilience, essential for
future success in high school, college, and beyond.

Prequel offers programs that help preteens become confident, capable, and
resilient individuals who are curious and excited about the world.

Build a business and make $500 in sales.


This isn’t your typical lemonade stand that gets a few pity purchases. Students
learn about delivering value, customer personas, financial budgets, and how to
market and sell.

Coding as the only way to build technical skills is so 2010s. The future is
coming fast. Students explore emerging engineering and tech fields through
application simulations and master the essential skillset and open mindset of
quickly learning and adopting new technologies.

How does a kid get a busy professional to give them the time of day? Students
will build a body of work online, learn how to do cold outreach professionally,
and uplevel their communication skills to prepare, conduct, and record

TEEN PROGRAMS

By the time kids hit high school, they are capable of adult-caliber
achievements. Teenagers are at the peak of cognitive learning and
extraordinarily competent. We know that high school students can be the best in
the world if we meet this potential by pushing them to the challenge instead of
treating them like children.

Prequel’s teen programs are all about building something many think high
schoolers can’t do. What sets us apart is the scale of ambition and depth of
work. We believe that building an ambitious project or business unlocks every
growth skill and mindset: grit, resourcefulness, creative thinking, learning to
fail, using tech and AI, and much more.


Beta Camp
teens

Build a business that is on track to make 100k a year.

A 4-week summer bootcamp where students accomplish more in a month than many
entrepreneurs do in years. Students go through all the stages of building a
startup with guidance from experienced founders. Learn and execute on design
thinking ideation, user research, building an MVP, marketing, sales, and
pitching to VCs.

A multi-year program where teens find their passions, become an expert, and
build the skills to become the best in the world. We have students starting
businesses that raise millions of dollars, create documentaries that reach
millions of people, and build apps that millions of kids use.

Growth skills common core
There’s a common core for academics; why not for the life skills kids need to
succeed? 



Anyone can say your kid is learning grit, teamwork, and communication skills. At
Prequel, we have real-world tests in place to prove a skill has been mastered,
like beating Harvard Business School’s teamwork challenge in preteens or
building a personal advisory board of industry leaders as a teen. In the
academic world, kids are sheltered, with grades representing success.

At Prequel, the real world determines whether hands-on projects are a success.

Live-action learning
Prequel isn’t Zoom School or talking to an AI bot. It’s real-time, real-world
learning.

Our live-action experiences are full of hype and energy - like attending a
concert or sports game. It’s where students collaborate on complex problems,
face dynamic scenarios, receive guidance and feedback, and interact with
motivating guest instructors.

360 holistic programing
Kids don’t just need facts; they need to understand the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of
applying that knowledge in real life and be motivated to take life-changing
action.


Outside of live sessions, students join a community of like-minded peers,
compete in progress-based competitions, participate in socials, and get weekly
check-ins from coaches. It’s not uncommon for our student community to have
100k+ messages in a month.

We are the older siblings that have been there and done that.

The programming team has diverse experiences, from working at international
non-profits and coaching Olympic athletes to founding businesses and leading
