We are hiring throughout the IRS, and we want to tell you about it!

During this virtual open house/information session, we will be featuring
positions within the Large Business and International (LB&I) division. LB&I is
responsible for tax administration activities for domestic and foreign
businesses with a US tax reporting requirement and assets equal to or exceeding
$10 million. What is unique about LB&I? They hire several distinctive senior
level career positions that work in collaboration with one another to meet the
needs of customers in a global environment.



About the Event:

You’ll hear from LB&I Executives, employees and hiring managers. They will be
discussing the importance of LB&I to the IRS’ goal of funding America and
highlighting several LB&I positions, such as:



• Appraisers

• Data Scientists

• Economists

• Engineers

• Financial Analysts (Business Valuation Specialists)

• Revenue Agents

• Tax Law Specialists



You’ll decide which position interests you and then choose a breakout room to
hear more about it. Click on the positions above to link to the open job
announcements. Each position has definitive education and specialize experience
requirements and are not entry level.



In these breakout rooms, you’ll learn about the day-to-day duties of the
positions, and the qualifications needed to be eligible. Afterward, there will
be a Q&A session where you will be able to speak directly to LB&I employees
working in these positions and the hiring managers who review potential
candidates - all so you can gain a better understanding of the position and
whether it is a good fit for you.



We will also be discussing the application process and tips on writing an
effective resume to highlight your experience effectively and make yourself more
competitive for these positions.
