Although the Portuguese landscape is already naturally mystical, we found
beautiful and mystic trails that make strong spiritual connection, what makes
our excursions even more animated and memorable. 

You are going to have fun no matter how challenging is the trail that you
choose.  

You only need to surrender to the trail and to the guide.

MARMELETE WALK


6 KM


MARMELETE WALK:

Time and meeting point: 09h00 /“Casa do Povo” of Marmelete (37º18’41″N
8º40’00″W). 

Price: 15 € – includes guide with first aid kit. Groups ≥ 4 persons = 10% of
discount. 


Type of walk: This is a short walk around Marmelete. Without difficulty. 

Duration: Approximately  2h (not including casual stops). It is a circular route
of 6 Km.

Audience: Public in general. People without walking habits.

The price of the walks includes a visit to the Medronho Museum with
visualization of video about medronho production (1,5 € / person). For medronho
tasting a extra fee must be payed.  (1,5 € / person – 1 medronho + 1 melosa).
There is the possibility of tasting traditional products from the region
(sausages , ham, bread and traditional cakes), but in that case, a reservation
must be made with 2 days in advance and costs 6 € / person.

Old Corks Walk

OLD CORKS WALK:

Time and meeting point: 08h30 /“Casa do Povo” of Marmelete (37º18’41″N
8º40’00″W)
Price: 20 € – includes guide with first aid kit.* Groups  ≥ 4 persons = 10% of
discount. 


Type of walk: It’s of de medium/high difficulty.

Duration: Approximately 4h (without stops).

The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants. It is a
circular route of 9.6 km.

Audience: Public in general.

Route: Starts in “Casa do Povo” of Marmelete and goes to Picos and then to the
famous old corks of Marmelete.

RIBEIRA DE SEIXE WALK

 15 Km


RIBEIRA DE SEIXE WALK;

Time and meeting point: 08h00 / Jardim de São Miguel, Rua Principal, São Miguel
(37º26’00″N 8º45’14″W)

Price: 30 € – includes guide with first aid kit. Groups ≥ 4 persons = 10% of
discount. 


Type of walk: This walk starts in São Miguel (near Odeceixe) and it is of medium
difficulty.

Duration : Approximately  5h (without stops). 

The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants. It’s a
circular route of 15 km

Audience : Public in general. 

Route: This walk starts in São Miguel and goes to Zambujeira de Baixo by the
riverside of Ribeira de Seixe and back by the other side of the river to São
Miguel.

Points of interest: The margins of Ribeira de Seixe.

ARROIO – MONTINHO WALK

ARROIO – MONTINHO WALK:

Time and meeting point: 08h30/Selão (37º22´’48″N 8º38’58″W)

Price: 20 € – includes guide with first aid kit. Groups ≥ 4 persons = 10% of
discount. 

(**This walk can end with lunch in the snack-bar Oásis, in Foz do Besteiro).


Type of walk: This walk starts in Selão and it is of medium/high difficulty .

Duration: Approximately  4h (without stops). The duration of the walk depends on
the interest of the participants. It’s a circular route of 10Km.

Audience : Public in general. 

Route: This walk starts in the village of Selão and goes to Ribeira de Montinho,
passing then to the margins of Ribeira de Arroio and then back to the village of
 Selão.

Points of interest: The riversides of Ribeira de Montinho and Ribeira de Arroio.

PASSIL WALK

PASSIL WALK:

Time and meeting point: 08h30 /“Casa do Povo” of Marmelete (37º18’41″N
8º40’00″W).

Type of walk: This walk is of  medium difficulty. 

Duration: Approximately  2h (without stops). The duration of the walk depends on
the interest of the participants. It’s a circular route of 5 km.

Audience: Public in general.

Route: This walk goes from Marmelete until Passil village through the mounts
around Passil river and back to Marmelete. 

Points of interest: The riversides of Ribeira do Passil and natural vegetation
besides the astonishing view.

FONTE SANTA (FORNALHA) WALK

 2,5 Km

Fonte Santa (Fornalha) Walk:

Time and meeting point:

08h30/ Road N266 (Portimão-Monchique) in the opposite side of the gas station in
the direction of Monchique (37°12’50″N 8°32’35″W).

Price: 15 € – includes guide with first aid kit. Groups ≥ 4 persons = 10%
discount. 

Type of walk: it’s of low difficulty. 

Duration: The duration of the walk depends on the interest of the participants
(termal baths). Coming and going takes around 1h. 

Audience: Public in general. 

Route: This walk goes from (37°17’18.3″N 8°29’07.5″W) and crosses the river
three times.

Points of interest: All the route and the thermal waters of Fonte Santa.

ALMARJÃO – RUA NOVA WALK

ALMARJÃO – RUA NOVA WALK:

Time and meeting point: 08h00 /
Corgo do Vale (37°17’44.4″N 8°37’47.2″W ).

discount.


Type of walk: This walk is of medium difficulty.

Duration: Approximately  4h. The duration of the walk depends on the interest of
the participants.  It’s a circular route of 9 km.

Audience: Public in general. 

Route : This walk goes from Corgo do Vale until ao Almarjão, passes through Rua
Nova ‘s village and then back to Corgo do Vale.

Points of interest: The old corks of Corte Pereiro and the landscape, and flora
and fauna.

Gas station of Aj Galp in Aljezur. The walk starts at 37°18’36.2″N 8°47’06.1″W

Type of walk: It’s a walk of medium difficulty. 

Duration: Approximately  4h.  The duration of the walk depends on the interest
of the participants. 

Audience: Public in general. 

Route: This walk goes all around Monto Novo river. 

Points of interest: The margins of Monte Novo river and the view over Monte da
Gorda, Monte Novo and Monte da Cruz. Possibility of de hostel.
