exploration of mind, heart, body and soul. The development and mastery of the
inner life leads to meaningful expression of the outer life. At the Millennium
Lab School we are pioneering ways in which the social and emotional development
of youth leads to not only stronger academic development, but greater life
meaning.

Forum. We can not expect youth to flourish when educators lack their own,
powerful sense of well-being. In Forum, educators undertake their own journey of
self-development, building social and emotional mastery, and purpose-driven ways
to embody the human spirit. This translates into meaningful development
relationships with students and educators that feel renewed, alive, and
resilient through participation in Forum.

Science. We draw upon the best of well-being science to bring it to life with
youth and educators alike. Our action-research informs how we improve upon the
applied Science of well-being, ensuring that with each passing year our methods,
pedagogical approaches, and programs become more effective in fostering human
flourishing—both in educators and in youth. Strong relationships with
researchers enable continuous innovation.
