Birralee International School Trondheim provides an English-speaking education
for children aged 3-16 living in Trondheim, central Norway.



The Australian founder gave the school the name ‘Birralee’ meaning a ‘safe place
for children’ – we provide a stimulating and secure learning environment in
which we value each child as an individual.



Beyond the academic challenge, students who join the school will find a friendly
and welcoming school environment, allowing them to thrive and succeed.

CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

We offer an English medium curriculum which is motivating and challenging. Being
approved by the Education Directorate in Norway, as well as having international
recognition, our curriculum offers students the opportunity to experience an
international education in a local context.



A Cambridge Education prepares students for life, helping them develop an
informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.

 

Cambridge students develop the skills they need to achieve at school, university
and work.It is taken in over 140 countries and in more than 4500 schools around
the world.

We are delighted that you are considering Birralee International school
Trondheim for your child's education. Our admission team will be happy to meet
with you and guide you through our application process.

We admit children from both Norway and abroad. The school is open to all
children who fulfil the criteria to be enrolled in Norwegian Public schools.



Thanks to state support, we are able to offer reduced school fees to our
parents. The annual fees for 2023-2024 are set to 26.920 - 35.939 Nkr per year.
Approximately, 2.290 - 3.000 EUR per year. 



We encourage parents to get in touch with us as soon as you know that you might
be moving to Trondheim. 



We are happy to organise a tour for you and your child of the school. For
families who are still abroad, we can organise a digital meeting to answer any
questions you may have.
