Yes, the platform has been audited by the specialized security firm Omniscia. No major issues have been found, and all minor issues have been addressed. The report is available here. Is there a bug bounty program? Yes, we have an active bug bounty program to reward users that find severe issues in the smart contracts of the DEX. For more details look at the dedicated page. Will I lose my FTSO rewards if I put liquidity into the BlazeSwap pools? No, you can safely put your FLR/SGB/CFLR/C2FLR into a liquidity pool and claim your periodic rewards. The timings, the amounts and the reward expirations are identical to what you've been used to, the only difference is the interface to claim them. We don't select the FTSO providers on your behalf, the liquidity providers can vote for their preferred provider. Will I lose the Flare Airdrop (FlareDrops) if I put liquidity into the BlazeSwap pools? No, as for the FTSO rewards, on the Flare and Coston2 networks you can claim your monthly FlareDrop. The systems uses the same 3 snapshots to distribute the airdrop to the liquidity providers, so the timings, the amounts and the expiration match what you'd expect. What tokens can I trade? You can trade any ERC-20 compliant fungible token. There is a curated list of known ERC-20 tokens that is pre-defined, but you are free to add any new token. Non Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are not supported. How can I get some free tokens to play with the DEX? On Coston/Coston2 we have deployed a few test tokens you can play with. You can either exchange your CFLR/C2FLR for one of them, or you can directly mint them here. Is there a BlazeSwap token or NFTs? No, we don't think the platform needs a governance or a utility token and we don't want to make money by issuing a (useless) token. The LP tokens are enough to vote for providers delegation and anyone can add new tokens and pair, so there is no need for a BlazeSwap token or NFT. Will you add farming pools? No, since there isn't a BlazeSwap token there won't be farming pools. Liquidity providers will earn tokens from the trading fees, trading is the main purpose of a DEX and trading fees are the main source of revenue. We don't want to attract liquidity by deceiving people into thinking that they will earn a (useless) token. What are the trader and liquidity provider fees? As a trader, every swap will have a fixed 0.3% fee. As a liquidity provider you will get your share of such 0.3% fee, pro-rata. What are the platform fees? The platform currently has no fees. Any fee activation will be announced at least 15 days in advance. The allowed fee percentages are hard-coded in the smart contracts and we cannot increase them, so there is no risk you'll get charged more than expected. Our swap fee, when enabled, will be 0.05%, that has to be substracted to what the liquidity providers will get. So for the trader it'll remain 0.3%, while the liquidity providers will get their 0.25% pro-rata. Other fees might be enabled (and disabled as well) on the Flare generated rewards, always within the hard-coded limits. As a liquidity provider may I incur in an "impermanent loss"? What is it? Yes, the impermanent (sometimes called divergence) loss is the effect caused by the difference of the pool rate between the time you provided liquidity and the time you withdrew it. It's called impermanent because it can be nullified if the price returns to the same value as when the liquidity was added, and the loss is only realized when the liquidity is removed. The actual return for liquidity providers is a balance between the impermanent loss caused by the price differential and the accumulated trading fees. What wallet do you support? Any web3-enabled wallet/browser and any wallet supporting WalletConnect v1 should work with BlazeSwap. We've successfully tested the MetaMask and Rabby browser extensions on desktop, and Bifrost/D'CENT apps on mobile. We don't recommend MetaMask Mobile because of a few unsolved bugs that we have encountered. Supported browsers: Brave, Chrome/Chromium, Edge, Firefox. Why does the user interface stop working correctly after a few transaction with MetaMask? Is your app broken? While we cannot exclude bugs in our frontend app, you are probably hitting the rate limit of the public Flare RPC endpoint. Unfortunately MetaMask does a lot of RPC calls for each transaction. We suggest to either switch to a different wallet or to use a node with a higher limit. You can get a subscription, with a free plan including 1000 requests/day, from the Flare API Portal. Why I don't see my pools with custom tokens, or rewards from pools where I removed my liquidity, when using the in-app Bifrost browser? Bifrost is currently running the in-app browser in incognito mode. This means that all settings, including the added custom tokens and the list of pools from which you removed your entire liquidity, are wiped when the page is closed. This behavior might change in future, but in the meantime we've added shortcuts to re-add the token/pool from the Pools and Rewards pages. Is it possible to do swaps via API, without the web interface? It's possible to directly call the smart contracts, the workflow is very similar to Uniswap V2. We published a npm package with the contracts' interfaces and their artifacts that you can use in plain JavaScript or in TypeScript with TypeChain. We'll likely provide a SDK in the future. Get in touch with us if you are a wallet provider and would like to integrate swaps in your app. Why don't you have a cookie banner on your website? Are you not GDPR compliant? We haven't a cookie banner because we are not setting any cookie. We are strongly against trackers and advertisement.
