TESTIMONIALS

Chip is very fair, and he ensures you know the material by digging deeper into
your answers to see that you know the reasons behind every concept, and that you
know information further than basic rote memorization. I felt completely
comfortable during the flight portion with Chip as well. I HIGHLY recommend Chip
Bornstein for any checkride!!

Courtney Foltz

I took a checkride with him in early 2018, He was very upfront with his
expectations and the costs of the ride. When I got into the Private pilot oral
with him he didn’t treat it as a test, more like ‘Hanger flying’ that I know
personally helped my nerves as a 18 year old student pilot out a ton.
While in the ride with him he never made it feel like you were being examined,
just more along the lines of going up with any other pilot to show what you know
(Which is what a checkride is somewhat supposed to be)

Chris Butler

“I have to admit I was incredibly nervous going into my Private Pilot Check
ride. Chip made me feel at ease right from the start. His style made me feel
like I was hanging out with one of my dad’s buddies just talking airplane stuff.
I ended up doing my PPL, IR, and CPL with him. Here is the deal, if you know
your stuff, you will do just fine with Chip as your Examiner. It won’t even feel
like a “checkride.”

Let us start with a few basic tips on how to pass your FAA Practical Test

 * THE CHECKRIDE AND BEYOND

When your Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) or Designated Pilot Examiner

long-lasting value. What would help you more is information that both helps
