My daughter loves the site, so I bought her a $200 gift card for Christmas.
Little did I know that half of the items on the site are from third-party
sellers and now my daughter can't buy what she wants because the gift card can't
be used on those purchases. If you buy a Shein gift card, you should be able to
use it on anything on the site. I should have given her a Visa instead. It feels
like kind of a scam. Shein reached out and rectified my issue and they were
super quick, too! I'm changing my review to 5 stars. Super impressed!

“Big Fraud company”

lied and did not refund my money, also took items. Customer service is pathetic.

“DO Not Order”

They sent half of my items. Have not refunded the money. No phone number to

“They cheat and do not honor what they say on their site.”

HORRIBLE customer service and liars. I ordered something and changed my mind
within am hour or two. According to their website, orders can be canceled if
they have not shipped. I had just placed the order and nothing had happened with
it yet but they told me that they could not cancel the order. They told me
several times and the responses seemed to be automatic replies that haven't even
really read my message. I will never order from SHEIN again and I will be happy
to share my experience with othersto save other people from experiencing the
grief that I'm going through now.

Tip for consumers:
Their site says that you can cancel the order up until the time that it ships
but this is not true. I tried to cancel mine before they did anything with the
order and they refused to cancel it.

I have not used any product. I haven’t received anything.

“STAY AWAY”

They are cheap but you will never receive your merchandise. I ordered a product
on August 1st 2024 and 10 days after not receiving my package I called UNI UNI
delivery. They said the warehouse was notified to ship the merchandise. I still
do not have what I paid for. If you want to waste time and you money you can
purchase from this vendor.

UNI UNI is there shipping service. They are NOT reliable.

“Falsifying items on site to sell to customers.”

I ordered a pebble ice maker in silver and received a regular one in black. I
contacted customer service and told them this and that they would need to pay
for shipping as this was their fault, not mine. They said I would get my money
back. I took the item to UPs and shipped it back on 8/29/24 to the address they
indicated. It was delivered back to them and signed for on 8/31/24. I have
inquired about both of my refunds and they are stating it hasn't been received
and to check with the courier. I have proof and have given them the tracking
number. What they are doing and allowing is not right! They are allowing a store
to sell an item they are advertising under false pretenses. Other customers have
bought this same item and the same thing happened to them. I think attorneys
need to get involved at this point.

“Crapy customer service”

Never again will I order Shein crap... I ordered 3 tops in May.received them but
all 3 were bigger than I thought so I returned them hoping for Shein to send me
a smaller size... nothing since May and no refund of $50. Just glad it was a
small $$ amount cos crapy customer service is useless and they pretend to do
something but won't. Stealing $50 is pathetic. It's August and still nothing
from May... unbelievable

“DO NOT BUY FROM SHEIN”

Do not buy from SHEIN! I purchased multiple items(yukata dressing) from SHEIN
and most of them were missing accessories such as fans and belts. I opened a
case to let them know what were missing and uploaded requested pictures and
videos. Instead of investigating into the matter, they shut the case and marked
it as "resolved". This is a company which has no regards for its clients and it
seriously lacks professionalism. I am not sure if I would ever receive missing
items.

Tip for consumers:
Do not buy from SHEIN

Products used:
Can’t use products with missing accessories. Mostly belts are missing which is
the key item to hold Yukata together. Totally useless.

“Customer Service and Logistics Awful”

I have been a customer for years. Never had a problem with packages until
recently. My biggest order. Over $100 worth of stuff. They decided to use a new
carrier for my stuff and not the usual USPS. Some bs called SPEED X. They posted
bogus updates on my package saying undeliverable, then delivered but guess what
I got no package. Long story short Shein decided to favor this carrier and are
not giving me a refund or credit for stuff I never received. My stuff basically
stolen. Doesn't matter if your a customer for over 5 years. I never had issues
and the minute I raise one they shut me down quickly. I'm shocked to be treated
this way. Worst part u cant talk to anyone, you have to send stupid messages and
wait for a response. I even contacted the SPEED X, they have yet to contact me,
dead silence...makes me wonder, is there a scam going on under the table and
stealing money from customers knowingly...never would I have thought Shein would
treat a customer this way. But guess what, never again, I will not spend another
dollar. Whoever has my things, I hope karma hits you very very hard.

Tip for consumers:
Customer Service and Logistics do not help those that have a long extensive
history of orders and never had a problem before. Once a customer does have a
problem they do not side with the customer based on history. Very sad.

“Worst service ever”

1st they make me waited for almost a week. Then yesterday one courier from Imile
message me order will be delivered I call he said he is in Abu hail now again I
receive call feom courier from I mile and he is in wrong location. Fyi! Courier
sultan tailor is very rude he even shouted on me

BE CAREFUL PURCHASING FROM THE SHEIN COMPANY!
I ordered an item for £135.95 and returned it straight away. I received a letter
from them saying that they would return the money within 24 hours, I waited 10
days, but they did not return the money. I filed a case, then the messages
started saying that I have closed the case, then the money will be sent. I
didn't get the money. This is a lesson for the rest of my life and I wish
Shein's company no more customers because they have no respect for them or
themselves. This company has been deleted for life.

Lack of Flexibility for Loyal Customers
I've been a loyal Shein customer for a long time. Recently, due to a health
issue, I couldn't return an item on time (exceptional circumstances). Despite
explaining my situation (and requesting a chance to exchange the items size at
least.) my request was denied, and the escalation was never raised. My ticket
was closed and marked 'COMPLETED'. I feel ignored and will never use this shop
again.

I understand return policies, but exceptional cases should be handled with
empathy. Disappointed with the lack of flexibility.

SHEIN IS A SCAM! DO NOT TRUST!
They sell products, take your money, but then they don't send the products to
you. I was a loyal Shein user, placing orders every week and spending a lot of
money there. You would think that after I reported a missing product they would
apologize and provide compensation. WRONG. They dismissed my claim, telling me
that I was lying and that the product was, in fact, sent to me. I'm here to tell
you that it was NOT sent to me, and I have a feeling that they oversell their
products and when they run out, they simply don't send it to you and then claim
that they did. IT IS A SCAM, DO NOT ORDER FROM SHEIN.

“Divorcing SHEIN”

After 4 years of buying off of SHEIN I've decided to fully Cut ties with the.
Their products used to be very affordable and you can get a lot for a reasonable
amount of money but now everything is just so much more expensive and their
coupons do not work plus the shipping is very high considering all their stuff
is made cheaply and poorly, and China. Their stuff has never been good quality,
but over the years it's gone downhill and now it's just pure garbage, especially
with all the harmful chemicals that are past the illegal right to put into
products and all their stuff. It's very devastating and they've lost a really
good customer I spent a lot of money in the past unfortunately Them and now I
will no longer support them or give them money. I also got into their games
which is supposed to help you win and earn some free gifts but they never give
you the free gifts and they make you play over and over again, you get very
close to receiving the gift and they don't even give it to you so frustrating
you guys are shameful shameful fraud! Plus, I've become more of an elegant lady
and elegant ladies do not buy from Sheen Fashion Nova and absolutely not from
Temu. We buy from high end independent sellers that are based in New York Paris
Italy and the UK. Not from companys like yours who have all the products
manufactured, real dirt, cheap and places like China Who pay people over there
pennies and sweatshops in child labour places and then charge a normal amount
over here in the western countries with horrible toxic cheaply made products.

Everyone do yourself a favour do not buy from this place no matter how
compelling it looks your health will thank you your wallet will thank you and
let’s support good company that actually care about the well-being of their
consumers and companies that also care about sweatshops and child labours.

“Horrible Company”

Be very cautious with ordering from this company. I ordered almost $600 in
clothes for my daughters back to school and the logistics company FedEx that
they used delivered my package to a Amazon warehouse which I should have had
USPS not FedEx bananas I chose standard delivery not express. After reaching out
to FedEx to try and find my package I got no where and was told they only refund
the merchant and that the merchant would have to file a claim so after being
directed back to SHEIN I open a ticket. SHEIN refused to help me and
continuously redirected me back to FedEx ignoring my request to file a claim. I
have still not gotten my money back nor my package found and it's been a week.

“I have ordered about 20 items from Shein, all related to needle work. Have only

“When you have issues with SHEIN”

SHEIN and its employees do not have any kind of respect towards their customers.
They don't have any problem by taking your money but if their service is
deficient and you are required to contact customer service, that's when all hell
breaks loose. If you must contact cs, you will encounter with employees that
don't understand you, employees that are careless on regards of your necessities
and overall people more interested in making you feel inappropriate instead of
helping you out. They offer benefits for achieving a vip status for spending
your money in this website, but when you need to use those benefits they will
give you the run around. My problem is with a large order I had placed. Because
they keep items all around the world in different warehouses, don't feel shy to
think that they mind splitting your order. And they don't care if by doing this
they exposed you to spent more money in your purchase. They'd split my order and
one single item was sent in a different package than the rest. This package had
to be delivered to DORAL, Florida and during the pass weekend it was very close
to that area. It was in Miami. On Monday everything changed because the package
had been sent to Fresno, California. When I contacted their customer service
reps no one seemed to understand my predicament. And here I am, a week later,
paying additional taxes for waiting for that package to be send to my country.
They are completely careless of your situation! And as for today, the package
has not been delivered. I used to purchase items from this website at least once
a week and my situation fell on deaf ears. If you request a supervisor they tell
you right away that there ain't any available at the moment but if you use
"uncivilized" language soon enough you will get someone telling you how awful of
a person you are. Don't waste your money or your time in this website.

“Very bad customer service”

The pricing is fair, and they offer a good range of products, but their customer
service is severely lacking. My order placed during Eid arrived with an open
package and several items missing. Despite my repeated attempts to contact
customer service, I received no satisfactory response until they finally agreed
to issue a refund for the missing items and suggested I reorder the items.

This experience has left me questioning how reliable your service is.

“Stink of formaldehyde!”
June 28th, 2024


I run an embroidery business and one of my customers sent me a box of denim
shorts from this company. The stinch of formaldehyde almost knocked me out
trying to finish her jobf. I refuse to take in any garments from this store ever
again!

Tip for consumers:
the stinch of formaldehyde and chemicals was so bad I had to leave the shop

“SHEIN - You could do BETTER!”

I love SHEIN, but recently I've an experience where a package I ordered was not
delivered. I contacted customer service and really and truly it was sort of
difficult to communicate with them. However, after getting past the
communication issues, they informed me that they would give me a full refund on
what I ordered. I was very happy about this because I thought that I had just
lost my money and my items. They informed me that I would have to wait a certain
time for the refund to show up on my card. To my pleasant surprise, the 'refund'
showed up on my card by the very next day, but, did you know that they refund
you for each individual item as opposed to the total amount you spent?
Regardless, the 'refunds' were coming in, so I was happy. The problem is that I
didn't receive all the refunds on my credit card, however, SHEIN's website was
showing that the refunds were processed on their end. I contacted SHEIN who
informed me to contact my bank and I did but the bank said that I must contact
SHEIN because they (the bank) have nothing to do with the refunds. I contacted
SHEIN again and they're just telling me the same thing - "According to the
refund department, the refunds in question have been processed, different banks
have different processing times, blah blah blah." And here I am, almost a month
later, no package, a partial refund and the customer service reps seem to be
ignoring me now.

“Don't buy a gift card”
December 25th, 2023


My daughter loves the site, so I bought her a $200 gift card for Christmas.
Little did I know that half of the items on the site are from third-party
sellers and now my daughter can't buy what she wants because the gift card can't
be used on those purchases.

If you buy a Shein gift card, you should be able to use it on anything on the
site. I should have given her a Visa instead. It feels like kind of a scam.

Shein reached out and rectified my issue and they were super quick, too! I'm
changing my review to 5 stars. Super impressed!

Tip for consumers:
It is good for everyone to know that a Shein gift card has limited use on the
site, but the customer service is phenomenal!

“Shein Summer Tryon Haul”

I absolutely love SHEIN! It is one of my favorite places to shop on a budget and
find really cute pieces for every season. However, due to their low prices,
sometimes the quality of the items aren't the best and the sizing can be off at
times so it's super important to check your measurements before placing an
order. I've found that at times the clothes fit awkwardly due to their cheap
material. Another issue, is that some pieces are see- through and you have to be
extremely cautious of what you wear underneath. Most of the time, I am in love
with my purchases and they exceed my expectations, especially for their great
prices! I did a youtube video on some clothes that I purchased for the summer
season and I was super happy with my purchase.

“Go SLOWLY... don't order IMPULSIVELY”

beware when you want something a little more stylish. Example: I bought a fedora
hat for $10. Please see photos! After trying to fix it realized it was also made

Answer:

It is a hit and miss. Some items are OK but others are made by them recreating
clothes from other companies and the fabrics are literally table cloths of
worse. It is best to look at the photos of clothing posted by the users
themselves and not she inside. I wouldn't purchase anything they add themselves.
Also, to let you know how long it takes. I ordered a few items on April 15th via
express shipping and they still haven't shipped them. It is JUNE! So I would
save your money and shop at other sites even if they're a bit more expensive.

IS IT SAFE TO SHOP FROM THE SHEINSIDE APP AND ARE THEIR CLOTHES GOOD QUALITY?

Answer:

I personally have only ever purchased off of their website. I got my clothes in
a good period of time and sure some of the clothes didn't fit the way I needed
them too but that's the risk you take buying online without trying something on.
I found the clothes to be a good quality. I would compare the quality of items I
received to be similar to that of like forever 21 or urban planet. No where is
going to be perfect and you have to use your discretion when purchasing
something. Obviously you're not going to get this intricate beautifully crafted
A+++ quality item for like $13, but I would say the quality was better than I
had expected given the pricing.

Whatever you do, don't order anything from this site. The shipping took 3 weeks,
even after I had paid for express shipping. Further, the items are SO CHEAP, and
their return policy is so terrible, that I literally threw items out... Don't
think anyone at a thrift store would even want them.
