EDUCATING DANCE ARTISTS

The Academy of Dance Arts, founded in 1999 by Sherry Moray, offers a world-class
dance education, with performance opportunities, in a nurturing environment that
allows the mind, body, and spirit of each dancer to thrive.  Our brand new
state-of-the-art facility boasts 6 large dance studios and easy access from I88
and the surrounding Chicagoland area and serves Warrenville, Naperville, Downers
Grove, Wheaton, Glen Ellyn, and Hinsdale.  As a premier dance school, our
internationally trained faculty has developed dancers with exceptional technique
and artistry.  Our wide variety of dance classes offer something for everyone,
from the pre-professional to the tiny tot, fostering a love for the performing
arts through the exhilarating joy of movement.

Performance opportunities for students include full-length ballet productions,
the Youth America Grand Prix, regional and national dance competitions.  

 

The Academy of Dance Arts has been recognized as a premier ballet studio for its
excellence in Ballet Training and received the "Outstanding School Award" from
the prestigious Youth America Grand Prix (2000, 2003, 2013, 2014, and 2017).
Artistic Director, Sherry Moray, received the "Outstanding Teacher Award" in
2000, 2009, 2012, 2017, and 2019 at YAGP.  The Faculty of The Academy of Dance
Arts received the "Outstanding Teacher Award" in 2022 at YAGP.
