After a successful first Australian tour booked and tour managed by Hug in
February 2023, Ali have released their debut record Malaka out via Anukara
Records in Indonesia and soon to be avaiable in some select local record stores.

The album encompasses Ali’s desire to incorporate Middle Eastern musical culture
with elements of 1970s Indonesian rock, cinematic soul, funk, disco, and
afrobeat to create a new groove and sound straight from the contemporary and
vibrant Indonesian music scene.

Ali’s ‘Crystal Sand’ Feb 2023 Australian Tour included performances at OK Motels
(VIC), NinchFest Music Festival, (VIC) Lion Arts Factory (ADL) w/ Osees, The
Evelyn Hotel and Northside Records (VIC) to name a few key dates.

As booker for Ali’s Australian performances, Hug proudly present the follow up
tour to celebrate the release of Malaka and get Ali back in front of Australian
audiences.

Ali will perform at Meredith Music Festival (VIC) on Sat 9 Dec, Seasonal Fruit
Festival (QLD) on Sun 3 Dec, The Night Cat (VIC) Thu 7 Dec and a string of other
shows in the two states we’re bringing the band to this tour. Local agents,
