WHAT IS SUMMON? Summon is about creating a foundation to allow for the true power of communities to grow. Summon is about a better world. At its core, Summon is a community liveops tool that manages, incentivizes, and rewards contributors, in ways that go beyond money. It’s how Game7 will create a meritocratic nation that redistributes control to its most valuable members - those who make contributions to the ecosystem. Summon serves as both the gateway into Game7 and the underlying protocol that governs our gaming nation. Summon creates a governance primitive that automates the measurement of contribution, recognition and rewards. As a citizen makes contributions, their NFT earns points, rank and materials. Their rank qualifies them for more influence and control, while the points and materials unlock rare items that can be affixed to their NFT, granting a visual representation of status and progression. The net effect is a meritocratic governance model, inspired by the most successful MMOs, that gamifies participation by distributing power and governance rights to the most productive citizens of the nation. Reason for Game7 support: Game7’s commitment to decentralize its governance resulted in abundant research into existing open-source solutions that serve our needs. We realized that there were many great disconnected solutions but no all-in-one solution catered towards our progressive decentralization plans outlined in the original proposal. As a result, we’ve decided to incubate a product that will directly address our challenges, hoping its success will benefit other communities once proven.
