YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR EXTENDER'S WIFI NETWORK.

If your Wireless range extender and router use the same WiFi network name
(SSID), follow these instructions:

To log in to your extender, enter one of the following URLs in your web browser
: http://mywifiext/

These instructions apply only to the following extenders:

WIFI EXTENDER SETUP

If you do not receive good wifi network in all the areas of your home and there
are dead spots where the wifi range in not being received, then the wifi range
extender come in handy to a great extent. Wifi range extender offers you its

and boosts the network signals, giving you faster and better wifi in all the
areas of your home and office.


EXTENDER SETUP VIA WEB BASED PROGRAM

A wifi range extender catches the wifi signals of your existing router and
re-transmits it to all the areas of your house or office including all dead
zones. There are 2 ways in which you can setup your wifi range extender. One is
the web based setup which is done through the mywifiext.net site and other is
the WPS (Wifi Protected Setup) method. The WPS method of setup is much easy and
it only requires you to push a button on your extender and your router but
sometimes it may not work because some routers do not have the WPS button. In
such cases you can follow the below given steps to setup your wifi range
extender via the web based program.


WEB BASED EXTENDER SETUP

 * Place your extender close to the router and plug it well to the wall
   electrical outlet
 * Open a web browser on your wifi enabled device
 * Type the site link www.mywifiext.net
 * Enter the default credentials in the login fields and press login
 * The default credentials will be given in the user manual of the range
   extender
 * Next you will see the setup screen where you need to select a network which
   you wish to extend
 * After following the setup instructions on the setup page you need to save all
   the settings before it logs off
 * Register your device and complete the setup by clicking finish


WPS METHOD FOR EXTENDER SETUP

In order to perform the WPS setup, you need to make sure that the router has the
WPS button on its side. In the WPS method of configuring the wifi range
extender, you just need to press the button and the extender and router will do
the rest of the setup. As soon as you press the WPS button on both the wifi
range extender and the router, there will be a connection which will establish
between them and they will communicate to setup the extender. When the LED light
on the extender will turn solid green it means that the extender has
successfully setup.


FOLLOW THE STEPS TO CONFIGURE YOUR WIFI RANGE EXTENDER VIA THE WPS METHOD

 * Press and hold the WPS button on the extender for few seconds
 * Immediately press the WPS button on the router or press it within 2 minutes
   of pressing it on the extender
 * You will be able to see the LED flash while the extender and router
   communicates and try setting up
 * When the setup is complete you will see the solid green LED, now connect the
   wifi enabled devices with the extender and enjoy the benefits


TROUBLESHOOT ISSUES WHILE ACCESSING MYWIFIEXT

While trying to access the mywifiext.net setup page of the extender you should
not receive any errors because the steps to access the site is very easy, but in
case you face errors you can see how to eradicate or avoid them down below –

 * Your extender must be connected to your computer
 * Your web browser must be updated
 * Your internet should be in working condition
 * Enter the correct spellings while typing the site link and correct numbers
   while typing the IP


ACCESSING THE MYWIFIEXT SETUP PAGE

There are two ways to enter or access the mywifiext.net. One is by entering the
site link through the web browser and the other is through the IP address. The
IP address of the extender is 192.168.1.250 and when you type this IP in the
address bar of the web browser you can easily access the mywifiextsite setup
page of the wifi range extender.


WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR WEB BROWSER TO GO TO THE SETUP PAGE OF THE EXTENDER, YOU WILL
FIRST HAVE TO LOGIN TO GO TO THAT PAGE. THE STEPS FOR LOGIN CAN BESEEN DOWN
BELOW

 * Connect your extender to an electrical wall socket
 * Open a web browser in your wifi enabled device
 * Type the site link http://mywifiext.net or type the IP address 192.168.1.250
 * Enter the default login credentials in the fields given there
 * Alternatively create an account if you have not already and press login




THESE ARE THE BASIC STEPS TO ACCESS THE MYWIFIEXT SETUP PAGE OF THE WIFI RANGE
EXTENDER. YOU SHOULDN’T USUALLY HAVE ANY PROBLEMS WHILE OPENING IT BUT IF YOU
SEE THE ERROR ‘YOU ARE NOT CONNECTED TO YOUR EXTENDER’S WIFI NETWORK’ THEN IT IS
BECAUSE IT IS NOT AN ORDINARY SITE, IN FACT IT IS A LOCAL WEB ADDRESS. IT WILL
OPEN ONLY WHEN YOUR EXTENDER IS PROPERLY CONNECTED.
