STUDY TOUR

Explora Consultancy designs & organizes Study Tour programs to understand the
basic human life experience of developing country connecting rural Bangladesh
with the youth from a developed country, particularly Japanese youths. In this
program, we, Explora consultancy provides opportunities for participants to
learn the culture, social behavior & socio-economy through observation and
interaction with local people as well as analysis of the findings.

Ali Imam Majumder Chief Advisor

At the apex level of BCS, Mr. Majumder worked as the Cabinet Secretary,
Principal Secretary, Member of Planning Commission and Secretary, to the Govt.
of Bangladesh. He worked also as Deputy Commissioner of Sylhet & Cox's Bazar,
Chairman of Sonali Bank, Bangladesh Biman & Trustee Board member of TIB,
Bangladesh. Currently serving as Chairman of MIDAS Financing Ltd. Since
inception, he is guiding Explora's management & operation as its Chief Advisor.


Shahabuddin Farooqui Advisor

Mr. Farooqui, a seasoned rural & urban development expert and a pioneer in
development consultancy, began his career under the mentorship of the legendary
founding Chief Engineer of LGED, Engr. Q I Siddique. Over the course of his four
decades professional journey, he has contributed to various sectors, including
socioeconomic, M&E, community development, and leadership roles, culminating in
his position as Country Director of international organization.


Md. Shafi-Ul-Alam Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Alam is a civil servant (former Deputy Commissioner/ Commercial & Economic
Minister, Bangladesh Embassy, Spain/ Addl. Secretary), Mr. Alam is at the core a
public governance specialist. Having varied working experiences and expertise
notably in areas of public administration, training (HRD), research and
consultancy. Furthermore, he possesses extensive experience as a national
consultant for various projects.


Rifat Hasan Turja Chief Strategist, Project & Development

Mr. Turja is a business development professional working in various consulting
companies for almost a decade. He has vast experience on proposal writing,
networking, negotiation & process development. Despite having a business degree,
he also pursued a Degree on Development Studies to understand this sector
further.


Hiranmoy Roy Chief Strategist, Research & Coordination

Mr. Roy is an experienced and learned consultant on Program Management,
Monitoring & Evolution, National Integrity Strategy, Training & Facilitation.
Working with diversified projects & marginalized groups helped him to understand
different development issues, underline causes, challenges in Bangladesh and how
to resolve.


Daloer Jahan Suhag Director, HR & Administration

Mr. Suhag is an experience HR professional, with a focus on administration such
as office management, facilities management, and policy development. He managed
different reputed organization with variety of HR functions, such as
recruitment, training, performance management, compensation and benefits, and
compliance with labor laws.


Debashish Roy Manager, Finance & Accounts

Mr. Debashish holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and possesses extensive
experience in the financial and accounting field. Before joining Explora
Consultancy, he worked on various government projects and also gained valuable
experience at a Japanese company. He is a humble, honest individual who pays
great attention to detail.
