She has previously held positions as the lead dietitian at an eating disorder treatment center and as the lead dietitian for an eating disorder treatment team at a large university. Amie is commonly featured as a guest speaker in undergraduate and graduate nutrition courses, and she is frequently consulted by other dietitians working in and outside of the eating disorders space.
