What a difference a transformative operation makes. ✨ Facing the prospect of a
heart transplant, 11-year-old Clara instead became one of the first patients to
have a reverse 1.5 ventricular repair at Boston Children’s. Read how she is now
healthy, playing with her sisters, and back in school not just for learning but

Back on the boards! 🏄🏂 Griffin loved the freedom and adrenaline he felt when
surfing or snowboarding. So, when a lacrosse injury led to one knee dislocation
— then another — and another, his parents brought him to Boston Children’s.
Orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Benton Heyworth stabilized both knees and today Griffin
is back in action and studying to be a nurse! More at the link in bio 🔗

fever — which later led to a stroke. Three years later, he says he’s “feeling a
lot better,” thanks to care from Dr. Molly Wilson-Murphy in our Neuroimmunology
