recently that a genuinely professional view on this crucial discipline has
gained momentum. Both private and public organizations are now beginning to

is done with guidance from the ISO 56000 family of international standards,
including the forthcoming ISO 56001 requirements standard, which will
allow organizations to certify their innovation management systems.

TARGET AUDIENCE

The primary target audience is innovation management professionals who are
either new in their role and need a solid foundation for a successful start or
experienced individuals who need to develop their skills further, align to the
systems approach to innovation management, and possibly pursue personal
certification.

In the self-paced part of the program, you can learn on any device at your own
pace in bite-sized steps. Each module is divided into 10-12 lessons, making it
easy to focus on what is relevant to you. The self-paced study time is 30-50
hours.


ABOUT THE CONTENT

The main content is produced by Amplify and includes original videos and slide
shows, interactive dialogues and charts, and downloadable guides and tools. All
modules have cases with examples from different organizations,
situation-specific guides with recommended actions, questions for individual and
team reflections, summaries of key takeaways, and knowledge tests. Most lessons
end with a “Learn more” section with optional external content for deeper
learning based on your interests. We have based all content on the latest
practices, leading research findings, and international standards.

The program content is viewed in the context of an Innovation Management System
– aligning with ISO 56002:2019 – and learned from an innovation management
professional’s perspective. To enhance the content and make it relevant for
personal certification, the Body of Knowledge for Innovation Management
Professionals is a primary source of knowledge.


PROGRAM OUTLINE

The online learning modules are the foundation of the program and prepares you
for the expert-led online live sessions and in-person workshops. The total
program duration is approximately two months, with activities outlined as
follows:

 * Week 1 – Session #1: Kick-off & fundamentals (2 hours live online)
 * Week 2 – Self-studies and assignments (online)
 * Week 3 – Session #2: Uncertainty & insights (2 hours live online)
 * Week 4 – Self-studies and assignments (online)
 * Week 5 – Session #3: Strategy & processes (2 hours live online)
 * Week 6 – Self-studies and assignments (online)
 * Week 7 – Session #4: Leadership & culture (2 hours live online)
 * Week 8 – Self-studies and assignments (online)
 * Week 9 or beyond – Session #5: Workshops on tools and methods (two full days
   in-person onsite)

A learning portal, Amplify Academy, is available for all participants for 12
months to facilitate continuous and long-term learning and serves as your
knowledge resource and hub for all program activities and communications.

Through this curriculum, we aim to maximize your learning experience and satisfy
different learning styles by delivering the content through a mix of
self-studies, discussions, assignments, tools, and case studies. During the
program, you will meet people in the same situation as yourself and thus build
fruitful relationships and networks.


ABOUT THE EXPERTS

Gunnar Storfeldt and Magnus Karlsson are your guides throughout the program.
They are senior innovation management experts and partners at Amplify, a
consulting and training company based in Stockholm, Sweden. They have over 20
years of international experience in practice, research, and standardization of
innovation management. Gunnar and Magnus have supported hundreds of private and
public organizations and worked with thousands of leaders and innovation
management professionals. They will share that experience with you!
