HELLO, MY NAME IS LEE VAUGHN.


I DESIGN AND BUILD WEB APPLICATIONS.


ABOUT ME

I am a Full-Stack JavaScript Developer who excels at solving problems and
identifying ways that products and processes can be improved.

Before becoming a Developer, I spent over 20 years in hospitality management. My
experience managing hotel and casino operations have given me a wide array of
soft skills like critical thinking, time management, and team building.

This unique combination of technical and soft skills makes me more than just the
code I write. They make me a well-rounded person capable of contributing to the
success of a team in a variety of ways.

When I am not writing simple yet elegant code, I enjoy spending time at the
beach with my lovely wife, cheering on the best NHL expansion team ever (Go
Knights Go!), and of course, enjoying a delicious pepperoni pizza.

An easy to use score keeping application built with React library and the
Context API.

LIBRARY MANAGER

A dynamic library management application built with Node.js, Express, SQLite,
and Sequelize.

TREEHOUSE HACKTOBERFESTERS

An open-source project that lists Treehouse students who are participating in
Hacktoberfest 2020.

LOCAL WEATHER APP

Displays the local weather along with a themed background image and layout to
match the current weather.

REACT IMAGE GALLERY

A React application that uses the Flickr API to create an image gallery that
includes a search component.

TWITCH STREAMER TRACKER

Find out which streamers are live along with the game they are playing and how
many people are watching.

RANDOM QUOTE GENERATOR

A Ruby on Rails application that displays random programming, learning, and
success themed quotes.

PHRASE HUNTER

A console-based phrase guessing game built using Python and Object-Oriented
Programming principles.

TIC TAC TOE

Challenge a friend to a classic game of Tic Tac Toe or test your skills by
playing against the computer.
