FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What ages can enroll in Creative Kids?



Creative Kids offers care to kids in kindergarten through 5th grade.

What paperwork is required and how often will it need to be updated?



The paperwork that is required by DHS is a school aged health assessment &
immunization declaration, sunscreen application permission, photo release
permission, field trip permission, and medication administration (if your child
requires medication while in our care). These forms will need to be resigned
yearly.

What are your hours?



Creative Kids is open from 6:00am - 7:30am before school and 3:45pm - 6:00pm
after school.

What days are you closed around holidays?



Creative Kids is closed for Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving,
December 24-26, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, and
July 4th

When will my invoice be due?



Invoices are due monthly. They will be sent via the Playground app on the 28th
and due on the 1st of the month.

How can I pay my invoice?



Invoices are paid through the Playground app. There is an option for an ACH pull
from your checking account or paying via credit or debit card. There is even an
autopay option!

What is your late pick up policy?



Creative Kids Company closes at 6:00pm. A $1.00 per minute late fee per family
will be assessed starting at 6:05pm. If you arrive at 6:05pm, you will be
required to pay $5.00. An additional dollar per minute will be charged after
6:05pm. For example, if you arrive at 6:15pm, you will be charged $15.00. Late
fees are due at the time of pickup and are payable to Creative Kids Company,
LLC.

If your child(ren) are not picked up by 6:30pm, an authorized contact person
will be contacted to pick up your child.

How do staff communicate with families?



Staff will post pictures and announcements on the Playground app. You will
receive an app notification and email when an announcement is made. For more
timely and important announcements, you will receive a text message from the
Playground app with information from Creative Kids.

For a more personal messaging experience, staff and families will utilize the
chat feature of the Playground app.

What is the procedure for check in/check out?



Families will check their children in using the Playground app. Families may use
their own devices or the Creative Kids iPad station.

When is information on summer programming released?



Information for the summer program will be released in early spring.
