BENEFITS OF MINDFULNESS MEDITATION Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) is considered the gold standard in modern mindfulness training and is also the most widely studied mindfulness intervention program. Studies suggest that the practice of MBSR offers physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits: PHYSICAL MBSR can help to manage chronic pain, fibromyalgia, and heart disease. It can reduce high blood pressure, manage gastrointestinal (GI) and skin disorders and support immune system function.
