WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING

SOCIAL WORKER, MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL

“I found the training session to be informative not just in regards to working
with Neurodivergent colleagues in the work place, but for my work with
neurodivergent citizens, helping me to think more about how I interact with
them, how I record my views, what I’m using as evidence for assessment purposes,
and to think about what is important to them and for them.  I think I I’m better
armed when planning for transition from school to employment
experiences/opportunities.  I also feel inspired to understand more, not from a
diagnostic perspective, but from a lived experience viewpoint, what someone’s
Autistic traits, or neurodivergence means for them.

The training was great for myth busting.  I’m going to have the confidence to
challenge the language of others and the assumptions particularly around
anxiety, which I hear a lot.

Overall I thought David’s presentation was excellent.  I could have listened to
him for another 3 hours”

HANNAH (MENTEE)

“David is incredibly understanding and knowledgeable with a vast amount of
expertise in all areas I needed support with. It has been extremely beneficial
having mentoring support from David – he is not only flexible, reliable and
professional, but also so easy to get along with. The space he creates is
welcoming, refreshing and safe. Thanks David, just knowing I have your sessions
there when I need them is very reassuring and a big part of my network.”

LINDA (CONSULTANCY CLIENT)

“David is a very gentle, approachable man with a wealth of information and
experience of his listed topics.  He has been the most wonderful support to us
as a family during the most trying of times and has always shown patience and
understanding whilst being able to offer advice and possible coping strategies
to help get us through. Anyone looking for support, advocacy or information
David is definitely the ‘go to’ man.  Thank you David!”
