I am certainly not new to woodworking, but recently, I needed to make a pretty
sketchy cut... long story short and part of fingertip short, I decided it was
time to upgrade from my homemade push sticks and blocks. I watched a few YouTube
reviews and comparisons with the knockoffs, and I was on the fence (price was a
factor). Anyway, after a quick cuff to the back of the head from my wife (pretty
sure she was more upset that her built-ins were going to be delayed than
concerned for my health
;)) I purchased this unit and am so glad I did. This thing is awesome and worth
the price! It is well-engineered and assembled; it is rock solid. I was
surprised by how well it grips the wood as you push it through. The fact that it
sturdily grips the material on both sides of the blade ups the safety factor for
kickbacks (my saw is over 25 years old and doesn't have a riving knife). Please
do yourself a favour and do not cheap out; it is clear that some R&D went into
this tool, and it's well worth the money for your safety.

Excellent product. I have been longing for one (and maybe two) of these for some
time. Having had a push stick shatter when it hit a high speed router cutter, I
decide that it was time. I do not regret it. Well made, easily assembled and
adjusted, and far safer than any sort of push stick. Anyone with a tablesaw who
does not have one or even two of these is playing russian roulette with their
finger.
