REAL CHANGE TAKES REAL RESOURCES

Your non-profit is dedicated to ending sexual violence. It takes funding to help
the women in your community, but that is just the starting point. You must also:

 * Learn what works and what doesn’t.
 * Grow a team of dedicated leaders.
 * Network with the right people, getting new opportunities to connect with
   donors.
 * Manage the ups and downs of cash flow.
 * Develop a lasting strategy.

When you don’t have the resources you need, it feels like you’re in a battle
that’s impossible to win.

You’re not alone. We help nonprofits through strategic grants and resources,
giving holistic help to our partner organizations.

“(The Jensen Project) has met a need in the human trafficking field to provide a
time where service providers can collaborate and talk about the hard topics and
best practices this field needs. They have also created a force that has and
will continue to change the way service providers serve their clients in this
human trafficking field.”
Jennifer BestInterim CEO of Eden Centers

“The Jensen Project invested in two pilot projects at Restore to address the two
greatest needs for survivors in New York City: housing and jobs. Today, these
'projects' are now 'services' that are fully-funded and helping survivors thrive
in their recovery journey.”
Amanda EckhardtFormer Executive Director at Restore

“As an outcome of this series, we are going to be training more of our staff on
revenue strategy and bringing more individuals into the fundraising and
reporting process. We were able to make significant headway on our new
organizational logical framework, which will allow us to update our program
design, reevaluate our staff capacity, and set new targets for our revenue
goals. As a team, we were excited and energized to walk away with new plans and
ideas for continuing to grow AnnieCannons. By the end of the summer, our goal is
to have established new revenue targets that align with our new programmatic
design and our new mission statement.”
Laura HackneyCEO of AnnieCannons

“TJP (The Jensen Project) represents far more than a foundation offering
financial resources, it embodies an unwavering dedication to the cause of
anti-trafficking. Not only does TJP provide invaluable financial resources to
organizations, but it goes above and beyond by facilitating collaborative
efforts among these organizations. By Fostering unity, TJP paves the way for
exponential impact, ultimately transforming the entire anti-trafficking
movement.”
Melissa HollandCEO & Co-Founder of Awaken

“Thank you for giving us the time and space, as well as safety to have brave
conversations. [The Jensen Project] is breaking down silos. It is giving
survivors freedom to say no or to ask for what they need. It is helping those of
us who do not identify as a survivor understand and respond in meaningful ways.
THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART for how you respect and respond to us.
This was huge.”
Tasha KennardCEO of Thistle Farms

WE BELIEVE WE’RE STRONGER TOGETHER

As a rape survivor, our founder Janet Jensen discovered that organizations are
doing the hard work needed, but faced similar obstacles.

This journey led her to create The Jensen Project, unifying nonprofits in the
fight against sexual violence.

AREAS OF FOCUS

THE JENSEN PROJECT FOCUSES OUR WORK ON THREE KEY CATEGORIES WITHIN SEXUAL
VIOLENCE

Human Trafficking is a crime that involves exploiting a person for labor,
services, or commercial sex.

Domestic Violence is a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is
used by one partner to gain or maintain control over another intimate partner.

Sexual Assault refers to sexual contact or behavior that occurs without the
explicit consent of the victim.
