Psst... Reforestation is a powerful way to support community growth! 🤲 And
that's not all... planting trees supports education, and economic empowerment
worldwide! Just another reason why we do what we do 🌱💚
Did you know? Mangroves store 5 to 10 times more carbon than land ecosystems!
🌊🌿 These coastal forests protect our coastlines, keep our beaches
beautiful, restore biodiversity in marine ecosystems, and provide vital
protection for millions of people from climate change impacts, cyclones, tidal
surges, and coastal erosion. Unfortunately, approximately 1% of our
mangroves are lost yearly, posing a major threat to coastline communities.
But there's good news 🙌 We're restoring the aquatic environment by planting
mangroves throughout Asia and Latin America! These mangroves will be restoring
biodiversity, protecting coastal communities, and increasing capacity for 5-10x
more carbon storage.
Time and time again, we hear that reforestation is vital for climate change...
but why? 🌍🤔 Climate change is making an impact around the world – fueling
stronger hurricanes, drying up water resources, and diminishing food security.
But that's not all, climate change provides the perfect conditions for forest
fires to flourish! That's why we're restoring landscapes in Canada that have
been severely burned throughout the summer. Reforestation can help restore these
lands and recover a healthy ecosystem.

of tree-lined communities feel healthier and have fewer cardio-metabolic

Today is World Mental Health Day 🌿 Nature has a profound impact on our
mental health, and trees, in particular do so much for us. Studies show that
spending time among trees can reduce stress, lower anxiety, and elevate our
