New Paid User - Cannot Create Support Case


Hello Folks, I upgraded to a paid (standard) account today and wanted to submit
a support case. However under manage cases, I do not see an option to create a
case, instead I see the following message Your Docusign plan does not support
opening cases. Learn how to upgrade your plan to access support, or find
additional help resources in the Docusign Support Center. Isn’t standard paid
account eligible to create cases? Or am I missing something

Document in Docusign is just a blank document


I have filled out a rental application ( I have done this 100’s of times over
the past 10 years) to be signed by a prospective tenant. I have placed the text
into the lease agreement as I have done for many times (names, dates, rent,
deposit amount, etc). When I sent the document out for signature...the lease
agreement is blank...as if I didn’t input any fields.

template assistant sender fields not working?


Hi,I’d love to use the Template Assistant for word so that I can have text in my
word document replaced as opposed to having to position, pick fonts, etc.I
create sender fields in my Word doc as {{FirstName}} and the preview works
correctly. When I click Upload to Docusign, the template is uploaded and the
editor opens, but none of my fields are recognized.I’ve searched for resources,
but am getting confused by Document Gen, whether it requires Salesforce, etc.
What am I missing? TIA

How to Set Up a Multi-Section Form in DocuSign Where Only Relevant Sections Need
Signatures?


I'm working with a scanned form in DocuSign that has four distinct sections,
each corresponding to a different case. Only one section is relevant for each
use, and we want to fill in only the applicable section while leaving the other
sections untouched. However, the entire form needs to be completed with initials
and signatures for any selected section to be considered valid. My main goals
are: To ensure only the relevant section (based on the case) requires initials
and signatures from the recipient. To leave the remaining sections blank if
they’re not applicable. To streamline the signing process so that recipients
don’t have to interact with non-relevant fields. Is there a way to configure
conditional logic or recipient routing in DocuSign to make only the applicable
section of the form active for each case? Or is there another approach to
achieve this selective signing setup? Thank you for any guidance!

Why are my fields so out of alignment in eSignature?


No matter how well I line up my fields when preparing an envelope, they are
ALWAYS out of alignment post signing. What am I doing wrong? This makes my
signed documents look terribly untidy, no matter how much I try. Example here
where the fields are perfectly aligned and centred within each section of the
document. However, the final result has them both unaligned on the left-hand
side, and also out of alignment with my document.

Does anyone know how to contact DocuSign support?


I’ve tried contacting support via chat on the website, but I am unable to
contact anyone. The bot on the site is unhelpful & the prompts are not guessing
what my question is anywhere close to correctly. They offer numbered options &
when I select a number, the chatbot automatically closes the chat so I have to
start back from square one. I had to keep going around a loop of answering the
questions & getting links to unhelpful resources that did not get me to anything
to help me self serve.

Preparing an envelope for another person to send


I have a workflow requirement where a small group (Team A) must prepare
agreements for others on Team B to send at a time of the B Team member’s
choosing. The preparers are the wizards behind the curtain, and the signers must
see the envelopes originating from a B Team member. I’m familiar with custody
transfer rules, but since this is a one-to-many relationship (one preparer, many
possible senders) I don’t see how custody transfer rules are a possibility.
These agreements are unique and won’t be using templates, so template-based
rules are not an option. And the fact that the A Team member won’t know when the
envelope should be sent really closes the door. So I think I’m down to two
possibilities. The obvious one is Shared Access with sending rights. I know how
this works but it might be too much to ask of the A Team. And B Team members
might chafe at that level of access to their accounts. The option I prefer is
only available to administrators: transferring ownership of the envelope

How to remove "Enter your email to receive a copy" for in person signing?


Hello, I am trying to determine how to remove the optional setting for users
when they sign in-person to remove the option to enter their email to receive a
copy. We have looked into the Resource File and changed the
"DocuSign_InPersonSuppressEmailCopy" setting to True, and this seems to have
stopped the emails from being sent in these cases. However, we cannot seem to
find how to remove the HTML text (see attached). We have tried changing the
"DocuSign_HeaderStepGetCopy", "DocuSign_InPersonEmailDesc", and
"DocuSign_InPersonEmail" in the resource file to blank without any success. Any

Security Concern: authentication methods are not prompting on completed
envelopes


Hello, In our account, we have the following settings enabled: Recipient
Authentication Triggers: The first time a recipient accesses an envelope per
device. Recipient Authentication Skip Option: Recipients cannot skip
authentication when accessing subsequent envelopes from the same sender. When
utilizing in-person signing, the user is prompted to enter the access code to
initially access the envelope to sign (on the hosted device). However, once all
parties have signed the document, a completed email is sent to the signer where
they can view the completed document. If the user clicks that link on a
different device, they are not prompted to enter the access code and can view
the contents of the document. This is a major security concern if the wrong
email was entered or the email was compromised - documents may contain NPPI. Why
isn't the access code being prompted on subsequent access of viewing the
completed envelope, even if switching the authentication trigger to: Every time

First time user - can't sign my document


I’m a first-time user and I have no idea what to do. I applied for a university
and its admissions office sent a document for me to sign using Docusign through
my email, but after I click “Review Documents” I don’t know what to do from
there. I clicked a link that was sent along with the email on “How to sign a
document” and it said that I should click “Continue” on the top right corner
beside “Other Actions”, but the problem is instead of “Continue” I can only see
“Close” beside it. I thought making an account would help me see the “Continue”
button, but it’s still the same despite that. What should I do? It’s been around
3 days since I got my email and I don’t want to miss my chance to get into this
university.

Email Reminders for Signature Being Sent AFTER Signature Has Been Completed.


We are experiencing an ongoing issue, with multiple users, both internal and
external of our company. The issue is signers are receiving requests to sign
documents again, after they have already signed them. The issue began a couple
of months ago and is rather sporadic, but we have had more than 10 different
users report it at this point, many of which are power users who use DocuSign a
LOT. We saw the other post below describing the issue as well, but we don’t
believe users are clicking the link to trigger the new email. The users
reporting the issue are some of our biggest DocuSign users like Legal, who sign
hundreds of documents a year. We use Ariba for many of our DocuSign signatures,
but the issue isn’t isolated to Ariba contracts. We also see the issue with
manually created signature requests outside of Ariba. We tried some test
Documents to see if we could recreate the issue, but they have all worked
without duplicate emails. Is anyone out there able to confirm this behavior in

New user, paid for license, unable to create support case


Just what the title says - new Docusign user (kinda regretting this decision
already)…. Was using a trial and upgraded to paid for today. Never got a
response from sales when I was in trial mode. Went to open a support case today
now that’s I’m paid for - and it says I can’t as my account does not have that
privilege. Anyone have any tips here - worst part of this is I was able to open
a case when I was a trial user and they told me to talk to sales…. how, as I
said, ignored any request. Typing this out I feel stupid for spending the money
now...

portal does not allow me to contact a support live agent, since it is a free
account, and since there is no payment there in the account I can not refund!
