According to its website, A.M. Best is a full-service credit rating organization dedicated to serving the insurance industry. The objective of A.M. Best “Financial Strength Rating” system is to provide an opinion as to an insurer’s financial strength and ability to meet its ongoing obligations to policyholders. A.M.
