WELCOME TO
STEFANELLI COUNSELING SERVICES



We have been providing psychotherapy services to the Northeastern Pennsylvania
area since 2005. We recognize that seeking therapy can be a difficult decision.
We are glad for you to be at our page, and hope you decide to allow us to be a
part of your healing process.

 

It is our belief that many short-term approaches to therapy simply do not help
someone reach the roots of their problem, therefore, struggle with creating long
lasting change. Psychotherapy with us is focused on developing a deep
understanding and insight into your feelings as well as working through past
issues that continue to repeat throughout life. These patterns frequently are at
the root of our interpersonal and relational difficulties. This work happens
within the confines of a supportive and empathic environment.




INSURANCES ACCEPTED

Stefanelli Counseling Services accepts both cash and personal check. All payment
is due at the time of service. Please discuss any financial issues/concerns with
your therapist.

Note: If you have a plan that we do not currently accept, check to see if your
mental health insurance plan has third party reimbursement. If so, a receipt of
payment will be provided that can be submitted to your company. While
reimbursement cannot be guaranteed, it is generally a possibility.


DIRECTIONS TO
STEFANELLI COUNSELING

Directions from Route 81 North...

Take 81 North to the Main St./Dickson City exit. Make a right off of the exit
ramp onto Main Ave. Our office is about 4-5 miles on Main Ave. Some landmarks to
know you are getting close... at the last traffic light before my office there
will be a Rite Aid on your right and a big gold anchor (yes from a ship) on an
island in the road to your right. Our office is about 2 blocks from here and
will be on your left. Our office is set back a bit from the road and the
building right before me is close to the road so it is hard to see our building
from the way you will be coming. The building right before us that kind of
blocks us is a Home Hospice. There is a sign hanging from his building that
identifies the hospice. Look for this sign and then make a left into the
driveway immediately after his building. Our driveway is between my building and
the hospice. We are located at 1714 Main St. We don't have a sign out for
confidentiality reasons. Just park in the back and come in the front door. There
is a waiting room right inside the front door.
