OUR PROGRAM







North Star Recovery provides a safe haven where every woman, despite her
circumstances, is encouraged to flourish and achieve her maximum potential. Our
community is founded on principles of compassion, empowerment, and respect,
where we honour and cherish our clients.




Our diverse team comprehends the profound and enduring impact of addiction
stemming from traumatic events, accidents, violence, and broken relationships.
We acknowledge that addiction can be a coping mechanism in response to
oppression, trauma, and unaddressed mental health issues, leading individuals to
turn to substances to manage or numb distressing situations.




Accredited therapists and alcohol and drug counsellors staff our care team.
Private counselling allows women to unpack past traumas and current issues and
learn new coping skills.




Our residential treatment program, nestled in the beautiful province of British
Columbia, is specially designed for women, combining personalized care,
evidence-based therapies, and a holistic approach to address the complexities of
addiction and mental health. Our women's addiction treatment centre offers a
safe space for healing, growth, and empowerment, ensuring privacy and comfort as
