TETRA LEAGUE SEASON 2 PRE-SEASON

➔ Welcome to the Season 2 Pre-Season!

　➔ In the Pre-Season, we run the new rules without any TR on the line. That way,
you (the players) can get accustomed to the new rules, while we tweak the
balance and make sure things are perfect once the season starts. Expect the
rules to still change!

➔ The new rules are as follows:

　➔ Back-to-Back Chaining has been replaced with Back-to-Back Charging.

　　➔ B2B sends 1 for every attack (like Guideline), but at B2Bx4, starts charging
up a huge Surge Attack.

　　➔ When you break Back-to-Back, you will send out your Surge Attack. It is
split into three separate attacks.

　➔ The spin rule has changed to All-Mini. All-Spins (immobile spins with pieces
other than T) will be detected as a Mini. They do not send, but they do add (and
keep) Back-to-Back.

　➔ For the first 14 pieces, if the amount of garbage pending in your queue is
greater than the amount of garbage you have sent, you will be able to cancel
double the lines.

　➔ All Clears now send 3 Garbage. However, they also grant 2 Back-to-Back.

➔ We also plan to make changes to the TR formula and disconnection systems, but
these will be released come the start of the Season.


ACHIEVEMENTS

➔ Your achievements now contribute to a global Achievement Rating!

　➔ The higher ranked the achievement, the more points you get.

　➔ Compete on a global leaderboard for the title of most decorated player!

　➔ Duo achievements are not eligible.

➔ We've added some new achievements:

　➔ Guardian Angel: Highest altitude to perform a successful revive at

　➔ The Starving Artist: No-Hold + All-Spin

　➔ Supercharged: Highest B2B Chain reached in QP

　➔ VIP List: End the week on weekly leaderboards with a high rank. (+1 for top
100, +3 for top 25, +5 for top 10, +10 for top 3)

　➔ Detail Oriented: Complete a 40L run with as few inputs as possible (obtained
at sub 300)

➔ You can now see achievement leaderboards on the Tetra Channel site.

➔ We've cleared out the Zenith Speedrun achievement to rebalance it.


FURTHERMORE...

We are removing the Verified flag, and it will disappear from profiles in the
near future. Designing and enforcing policies and who should and should not get
it has been a major line of stress on moderation and has caused more confusion
for players than it is worth.

Instead, we have made available many new social links, which allow you to show
who you are on your profile. Not only is this a far more elegant way to prove
your identity, it also allows you to link directly to your content.

This was not the easiest decision for us to make, and we understand if you have
questions. We will publish a blogpost in the near future with more insights and
information.

By the by, we've got a supporter sale ongoing! An incredible amount of time,
effort, and resources has gone into the creation of Quick Play 2. If you enjoy
the mode, we'd be very glad if you could help support development of more
experiences like this!
