OUR STORY



Aunyi and LaSasha met in the winter of 2021. They planned to be “Just Friends”
but love doesn’t follow a plan. Love blossomed as they talked on the phone all
day, everyday. Love grew as they found themselves making frequent trips to see
each other. Who would have thought that a long distance friendship would turn
into a beautiful, fulfilling, amazing relationship? Aunyi moved to Indianapolis
with Sasha in the fall of 2022. It didn’t take long before Sasha knew this was
“end game” and she didn’t want to be without this woman. She planned a surprise
birthday trip for Aunyi with her closest friends and sisters. Sasha and Aunyi
had been on such a high in their relationship that it was fitting when Sasha
proposed to Aunyi 550 feet in the air, at the Las Vegas Roller linq. With unique
perspectives and upbringing, Aunyi and Sasha bring balance to one another. They
were two pieces of an incomplete puzzle until they found each other. Now, they
are whole. Sasha may think she’s shy and an introvert, while Yai is a people
person and extra friendly. Yai frequently pulls sasha out of her comfort zone,
while Sasha keeps Yai leveled. The two together are a match made in heaven.
During the very first conversation sasha said “ I’m marrying this girl” and she
was right. They’re getting married
