Get Tickets AFRICAN AMERICAN HERITAGE NIGHT 2024 The purpose of African American Heritage Nights is to promote cultural sensitivity and awareness of different cultures. Expose children in the Kanawha Valley to the rich history of African Americans and baseball as a long-term positive impact on their lives. African American Heritage Night began as a casual conversation between friends and has evolved significantly over the years. In 2023, there were 4,218 spectators in attendance, the most on a Tuesday night at the ballpark. This year, we’re celebrating African American Heritage Night’s fifth anniversary with flare and grandeur by turning it into a two-day event.
