ONE FOR THE RECORD BOOKS
For Jane Nincehelser, reigning 2021 Mrs. Nebraska, the 128 miles separating the
small northeastern town of Oakland and York was worth the two-hour drive to
celebrate her second masters, this one in education. She was able to meet some
of her online classmates, shake President Smith’s hand, and accept the
ceremonial hooding by Dr. Cheryl Couch, master of arts education program
director, and Dr. Shannon Leinen, dean of online learning and academic
initiatives.
YORK COLLEGE RELEASES FALL 2021 DEAN'S LIST
York College announced the students named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2021
term. 102 students were recognized with this distinction.
AMANDA PETERSON OF PETERSON'S PETAL COMPANY RECEIVES DR. MARK MOORE AWARD
The Dr. Mark Moore Entrepreneurial Spirit Award is presented annually by the
York College PBL Chapter and the York Chamber of Commerce at the York Chamber of
Commerce Banquet.
This year’s award was presented to Amanda Peterson of Peterson’s Petal
Company in York.
