ABOUT SOLEUS

Soleus Clinical Massage Therapy is the place to go for targeted treatment of the
physical problems that prevent people from living their lives comfortably.

For many people, massage is often viewed as a luxury experience, to be indulged
only for special occasions or as a gift. While those are excellent reasons to
get a massage, at Soleus we believe massage is a practice that is just as
important as joining a gym, attending exercise classes or seeking physical
therapy. 

Receiving massage at regular intervals can help identify and treat
musculoskeletal issues before symptoms create disruptions to daily life. Massage
is an ideal tool, not just for treating injuries, discomfort and pain, but for
preventing them as well. By being proactive and preventative, regular clients
will see fewer interruptions to their fitness routines and better general
comfort and wellbeing while working, dealing with stress, or just living life
each day.

Communication is key. Soleus LMTs will effectively communicate where, why, and
how they plan to treat your main issues. Often in massage settings, total
silence is the default, but by explaining in concise terms and with simple
demonstrations we can show you how minor dysfunctions in muscles and joints can
lead to debilitating symptoms. We’re not trying to talk your ear off, we just
want to demonstrate that you are heard and cared for.

YOUR THERAPIST



Soleus Clinical Massage Therapy is the private practice of Patrick Burford, LMT.

Patrick is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and graduate of The
Swedish Institute College of Health Science. He has been practicing massage
since 2015, including 4 years providing massage at a top physical therapy
practice in New York City.

Patrick is an expert at treating and explaining the course of treatment to
clients with musculoskeletal injuries, postural distortions, nerve injuries and
problems managing stress. He also has a certification in Prenatal Massage from
MaMassage and Pacific College of Health Science.

As a former Division I collegiate athlete, Patrick has weathered all manner of
injuries, aches, and pains. Take advantage of the wealth of knowledge he has
gained through all of his life experiences.

mind during your visit. Our rooms are disinfected between each appointment to
ensure the air and surfaces are free from harmful and communicable particles and
pathogens.

Treatment area is equipped with the following:

 * KN95 respirator masks are available for customers to wear should they choose,
   and your therapist will wear one upon request.

5 - 7 minute walk from Court Sq (7, E, G, M) or
Queensboro Plaza (7, N, W)

Street parking can be difficult to come by, so consider traveling by taxi or
ride share app if public transit is not an option for you. If you are driving
yourself, please plan on using a paid parking garage near by.

Please remember that this is the smallest of small businesses, as in, it’s just
one person. Please be patient in waiting for replies to emails and texts.
