glucose (BG) readings.The CONTOUR DIABETES App presents your BG results in a
simple and easy-to-review way that's personalised to you. 


SMARTLIGHT®

The smartLIGHT® feature provides instant feedback on blood glucose results with
colour coding lights.

Amber = above target

Green = within target

Red = below target


SMARTALERTS

Be alerted when your blood glucose levels are at a critical high or critical low
level.


ADD EVENTS TO YOUR READINGS

Help put your results into context by recording events such as diet, activities,
medication and also add photos, notes or memos.


SECOND-CHANCE™ SAMPLING

Gives you a 60 second opportunity to apply more blood if the first sample was
insufficient, which helps to avoid the need for repeat finger pricking.


 


USES CONTOUR®NEXT TEST STRIPS FOR REMARKABLE ACCURACY

The CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter uses CONTOUR®NEXT test strips to deliver a remarkably
accurate result to enable you to make the best decisions. Accuracy standards
allow blood glucose results taken on a meter to vary ±15 %* from a blood glucose
test done in a laboratory.

The CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter exceeds the standards at ±8.4%1-2 which gives you a
result even closer to laboratory reference.

*EN ISO 15197 2015 accuracy standards allow an error margin of ±0.83 mmol/L at
glucose concentrations <5.55 mmol/L or ±15% at glucose concentrations ≥5.55
mmol/L.

EASY DIABETES MANAGEMENT:   TRUST THE LIGHT

The CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter with its’ unique smartLIGHT® feature, makes it
quicker and easier to interpret blood glucose readings1 with coloured lights
that clearly identify if your reading is above, within or below your target
range:

Amber = above target range
Green = within target range  
Red = below target range



 

Regular monitoring of blood glucose levels is essential to help aide decisions
when making decisions for diabetes management*. The smartLIGHT® target ranges
can be set up and personalised for you in the Contour®Diabetes app** (make sure
you discuss target ranges with your Healthcare Professional).


BLOOD GLUCOSE READINGS IN THE DARK WITH CONTOUR®NEXT ONE

The illuminated test strip port can help you test even in poor lighting
conditions.

can put the meter between my teeth then direct the light to her finger so I can

THE CONTOUR®DIABETES APP: CAN PROVIDE BETTER UNDERSTANDING3

The free to download CONTOUR®DIABETES app uses the same colour-coding as used on
the smartLIGHT in the meter. The app is intuitively designed to help you stay on
top of your diabetes management. It automatically syncs and uploads the results
from your CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter. Additionally, using My Patterns in your daily
diabetes self-management can provide a better understanding of your diabetes.3

Having all your results in the CONTOUR®DIABETES app, may give you a greater
understanding how your everyday activities, food, and medication affect your
blood glucose levels over time.

“I recently attended the diabetes clinic at my local hospital. The app meant I
had real data and handy graphs to share with my consultant. We had a good
discussion about my blood sugar was trending at different times of the day. This
allowed him to make a recommendation for an adjustment in my meds that addressed
