With 11 confirmed studios, STRONG Singapore shakes up the South East Asian
fitness scene welcoming Pilates-inspired, cardio-infused studios in the hottest

STRONG Pilates founders Michael Ramsey and Mark Armstrong sit among the elite in

the walk, having been in the shoes of our franchisees many times before. This

strength/HIIT hybrid training.

Each class is 45-minutes focusing on either upper body, lower body, core,
obliques or a combination of them all.

ARE YOU DOWN?

 

STRONG
LOADED

Let’s slow things down. LOADED means heavy springs, heavy dumbbells &
time-under-tension. The goal: growth, gains & getting STRONG.

STRONG
BODY

Expect a well rounded full-body pilates inspired workout. You will feel a
complete full-body burn with low impact movements; paired perfectly with high
intensity cardio bursts. The goal: strength & mobility with a huge calorie burn.

STRONG
SWEAT

It’s GO time. Think high-intensity, high sweat, high volume. The goal: burn
calories, increase endurance, push your limits both physically and mentally.

PILATES
ONLY

Consisting of dynamic movements, pilates flows, and a mixture of stability and
mobility with plenty of burn. The goal: mobility, balance, strengthen and
lengthen.

STRONG
BEGINNER

A 45 minute class designed for our new STRONG Humans to break down the barriers.

Your instructor will take the time to introduce you to our Rowformer and show
you proper technique.

At the end of the session, work through a pilates flow to ensure you feel
comfortable and confident with our STRONG method.

At STRONG, we never rest on our laurels. We are constantly conceptualising and
testing new fitness technology that can add to and evolve the STRONG offering to
enhance our client experience.

Our Rowformer is an exclusively-licensed machine that is half a reformer Pilates
and half a rower, which makes for an intense full-body workout that combines
cardio training with strength and resistance.

Launching in 2023, our Former range has evolved to now include the Bikeformer,
swapping out the rower for a bike. Another first to market in our industry,
exclusive to STRONG.

MEET THE ROWFORMER

The ROWFORMER is a cutting-edge, first-of-its-kind machine that combines
progressive spring tension, quality vinyl anti-microbial seats with foam insets
for cushion and stability, resistance bands, and the renowned Concept 2 rowing
machine equipped with a proprietary foot plate and seat system, all monitored by
the PM5 for comprehensive tracking.



Put simply: Rowing Machine + Reformer Bed = A ROWformer.

UNIQUE TO STRONG PILATES

Unique to STRONG Pilates, our instructor-assist technology provides a visual
queue to the members, displayed on movement screens around the studio. Our
instructors have full control, using a remote system to move from one exercise
to another.

THE CHOICE IS YOURS

Row or ride? The choice is now yours. Introduced in 2023, RIDE stays true to our
high intensity, low impact ethos, giving our members another way to HIIT their
goals. The introduction of the Bikes is allowing members to choose their
favourite equipment for their cardio workout.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

THE STUDIO

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO CLASS?

Bring along a pair of grip socks, a bottle for hydration, a towel to wipe down
your sweat, and an open mind for the best experience. Grip socks are mandatory
to attend any STRONG class. If you don’t have one, feel free to purchase one at
the studio.

ARE GRIP SOCKS REQUIRED?

More grip, no slip. For your own safety and hygiene, you must wear grip socks —
no exceptions.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE TO CLASS?

Classes at STRONG start right on time, so we recommend you get to our studios at
least 20 minutes early to listen in to our safety briefing. New to STRONG?
Arrive at least 30 minutes early to get acquainted with our space as well as the
unique Formers. Booked on ClassPass? Early birds get the worms — come in early
to choose a Rower or Bike to avoid disappointment! Out of respect for the
instructor and your fellow STRONG Humans, latecomers will not be able to join
the class.

DO YOU HAVE SHOWER FACILITIES?

More sweat, more spa. We provide you with showers, towels, soap and shampoo when
you work out at STRONG. Eucalyptus-scented towels included.

THE WORKOUT

WHAT IS A STRONG CLASS?

A class for those down for more. The class that will change the way you train.
For good.
Sweat. Shake. Leave STRONG. Our 45-minute class includes light and heavy
resistance strength work for a full-body, STRONG signature workout. Pilates
inspired to work your upper body, back, legs, booty, obliques, and abs. Cardio
infused with a trio of five-minute row or ride intervals to get your heart rate
up. Well-rounded, like your booty after the burn.

HOW IS A STRONG CLASS DIFFERENT TO PILATES?

The STRONG workout is unlike anything you’ve done before. Our Rowformer and
Bikeformer are the first machines to combine resistance training with cardio
HIIT training.

Our classes combine STRONG controlled movements (slow twitch muscle fibre
activation that helps build endurance) and bursts of fast movement (fast twitch
fibre activation that promotes speed and power).

Add cardio HIIT training with rowing or riding and you have a unique,
challenging way to work out for a new kind of STRONG. Plus, with little to no
impact on your joints, it’s one of the safest and most efficient ways to train.

WHAT IS A ROWFORMER OR BIKEFORMER?

Your workout partner — the first machine of its kind in Singapore; a combined
Pilates & Row or Bike machine.

DO YOU HAVE A BEGINNER CLASS?

Yes we do! STRONG Beginner is the perfect place to get your technique right.
Your first 15 minutes will be spent understanding our machines and the elements
of a STRONG class. Then hop on and start sweating it out for 30 minutes straight
as we put your learnings into play. Fret not, your instructor will be there
throughout to make you feel comfortable, confident and even answer any questions
you have about technique and the STRONG method.

MEMBERSHIP & CLASS PACKS

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL?

The STRONG Experience is STRONG’s answer to a trial pack. Check out each
studio’s Class Packs page for different Newbie deals!


CAN I SHARE MY PACKAGE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER, FRIENDS, OR COLLEAGUES?

Your STRONG Class Pack and Membership is for you, and you only.

HOW LONG WILL MY PACKAGE BE VALID FOR?

Different Class Packs carry different validities, which will be clearly noted on
the STRONG App and Web, within your profile, and on your purchase receipt.

WHAT TIME DO CLASS BOOKINGS OPEN?

Class bookings will open 7 days prior at 12 midnight.

CAN I USE MY CLASS PACK OR MEMBERSHIP AT ALL LOCATIONS?

Our Class Packs give you access to all studios in Singapore at no additional
cost. However, if you’re on a membership or STRONG Experience trial, be sure to
check whether you’re on an all access, or a studio-centric pass.


STUDIO POLICIES

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

You are able to cancel your class booking without any charges or loss of classes
from your Class Pack up until twelve (12) hours prior to class commencement time
for all classes. Should you not cancel class before this time, or simply not
show up for the class, you will incur a late cancellation charge of one class
credit if you’re on a regular Class Pack or Single Class purchase; or a late
cancellation/no show fee of $20 if you’re on the Membership.

IS THERE A SUSPENSION POLICY?

You are entitled to two blocks of complimentary suspensions for each year’s
cycle. If you want your membership to be terminated, you will need to give us a
heads up at least 7 days prior to your next billing cycle.


CAN MEMBERSHIP BILLING BE PRO-RATED?

Our memberships are as flexible as they get with their weekly recurring charges.
Having said that, we can’t pro-rate your billing, but feel free to discontinue
once you’ve passed your initial 3-month lock in period if life gets in the way.
You will not be charged from the week after your cancellation.

HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK?

Full class? Join the waitlist. You’ll have better luck getting into a class,
plus it lets us know where we need to add classes. You’ll get an e-mail if
you’ve been added to class from the waitlist!
