i did unfortunately have to look at real injury photos to figure out how to draw
this panel. the image that inspired this one was of a motorcycle accident
victim, so that's what happened in-universe too.

I'm trying to get a sense of when this is set in relation to what we've seen so
far as I read, and in relation to the comic's general timeline. I know the comic
setting is slightly alt history and anachronistic but we see characters in
different pop and mico culture eras throughout the story, like with Milo and
Gage's different perspectives on social media, and we move back and forward in
time. I don't recall if Vikki's age has been stated and whether she is around
Milo's age? Something I find really interesting in WHN is seeing different
online subcultures clashing so I'm very interested by getting more insight into
Vikki and Xandra's relationship to the internet. Milo and Vikki's friendship
(and fight) is something that really drew me into the comic early on. Dope
update as always!

You have a knack for writing characters who are disconnected from reality in a
way that’s incredibly realistic, and it’s HILARIOUS

gonna hazard a guess that this is the victim of a horrific car crash that Vikki
saw at her work. The lack of compassion is pretty horrifying, but then again,
they’re edgy kids in this segment. A lot of us deliberately traumatized
ourselves as teenagers by looking at extreme real-life gore. Loving their
characterization though these flashbacks!
