RAYTHEON TECHNOLOGIES COMPLETES FIRST ENGINE RUN OF REGIONAL HYBRID-ELECTRIC
FLIGHT DEMONSTRATOR

Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) announced today the successful first engine
run of the company's regional hybrid-electric flight demonstrator, marking a key
milestone towards flight testing, targeted to begin in 2024.

PRATT & WHITNEY’S PW4000-94 ENGINE MARKS 35 YEARS AND 150 MILLION FLIGHT HOURS

Pratt & Whitney today announced that the PW4000-94-inch engine has surpassed 150
million flight hours and 35 years of operational experience. Over 2,500 engines
have been delivered since entry-into-service in 1987. The PW4000-94-inch engine
currently serves more than 70 customers in 30 countries, powering Boeing 747/767
and MD-11, Airbus A300/310 and the KC-46A aircraft across passenger, cargo, and
military missions.

PRATT & WHITNEY AWARDED F135 ENGINE CORE UPGRADE CONTRACT

Pratt & Whitney, a Raytheon Technologies (NYSE: RTX) business, has won a $115
million contract for the F135 engine enhancement effort, also referred to as an
engine core upgrade.

FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION CERTIFIES PW812D ENGINE ACHIEVING ANOTHER
MILESTONE IN THE ENTRY INTO SERVICE OF DASSAULT FALCON 6X BUSINESS JET

Pratt & Whitney Canada, a business unit of Pratt & Whitney, announced today that
the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has certified the PW812D engine,
designed to power the Dassault Falcon 6X business jet.

PRATT & WHITNEY’S WORLD-CLASS NORTH CAROLINA TURBINE AIRFOIL PRODUCTION FACILITY
NEARS OPERATIONAL CAPABILITY

With the majority of exterior construction complete, Pratt & Whitney’s
state-of-the-art turbine airfoil production facility in Asheville, N.C., is
expected to achieve initial operational capability in the second quarter of
2023. The 1.2 million square foot facility incorporates Industry 4.0 standards,
featuring highly automated manufacturing to improve safety, quality,
productivity, and cost in support of high-volume programs, including the Pratt &
Whitney GTF™ and F135 engines, for decades to come.
